They have reservations about how it would help the students learn the standards. They meet with Mrs. Jodi and discuss that they are going to do the film unit but not sure when. The teachers decide that reading and writing would be greatly impacted the students by them writing their screen plays. In order for the students to get the full impact, they would then produce their screen plays to put on at a film festival. The two teachers would need to model how this would work. They created a screen play and then produces a short film based on the play. Concept mapping is a tool for representing and organizing knowledge. We can change this to suit our needs in doing a screen play. You can start with your concept and then map your ideas around it.
