Over 2,400 Americans died. The next day, the U.S declared war on Japan, entering World War ll. </p><p><mark>Outcome of event: </mark>The Attack on Pearl Harbor led to the U.S entering World War ll. It caused major losses for the U.S Navy and increased anti-Japanese sentiment. Japan's actions triggered a war that ended with its defeat in 1945</p><p><mark>Medical issues:</mark> The soldiers faced battle injuries, infections and psychological trauma.
