The webinar series explores a broad range of themes that support the professional growth of early‑career researchers, helping them develop confidence, transferable skills, and strategic awareness for the next stages of their careers. Sessions blend practical advice, reflective guidance, and technical skill‑building, offering insights into navigating academic pathways, improving research communication, strengthening interdisciplinary thinking, and engaging with wider innovation ecosystems.

IDRIC’s Early Careers Research Academy (ECRA) Newsletter shares regular updates on conferences, training and professional development opportunities, funding calls, and other ECR-focused activities across the industrial decarbonisation landscape, helping researchers stay informed and connected.

The ACE & UKACC Control Conference 2026 (CONTROL 2026), the 15th United Kingdom Automatic Control Council International Conference on Control, will take place from 23–25 June 2026 in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, hosted at Newcastle University’s Frederick Douglass Centre. This flagship event brings together the UK automatic control community for three days of discussion, collaboration, and knowledge exchange across academia, industry, and practice. The programme is structured as a combined event, with Day 1 dedicated to the ACE Forum focusing on community, policy, and industrial engagement, followed by Days 2–3 featuring the UKACC Conference with technical presentations and poster sessions. Flexible registration options allow participants to attend individual parts or the full three-day programme.
