Do some mothers now have similar ways of teaching and have high expectations on their children like the mother in the story? Do some children react the same as the daughter in the story, trying to make their parents give up on them? What do you see?

By reading this story, I realize that the enviroment motivates the children to set the goal and achieve it. For example, the environment such as tiger parenting will let the children work hard not to disappoint their parents. Moreover, the thing that motivates the parents to have high expectation on their child is also environment. For instance, if one the child's friend's mom talks about her child's achievement, the mother who heard will immediately try to let her child achieve or do something.
