The piece I am going to be speaking about is the three-piece series that I called “Same World But Different Perspectives”. For this series, I decided to do them digitally because it is a media I always wanted to work in and it would help me push myself artistically. I see myself using this skill for my career because I am going to college for Animation. And what we know about animation is that it is all digitally made. So, if I were to push myself with this, I could further push myself towards success.

 

            While reflecting on this, I struggled with putting the pictures in the correct sizes when they were finished. I felt aggravated and upset because it was something so minor yet it mattered the most to the series for it all to be in the right size. Next time, I know to be more patient and how to edit the art to its correct and appropriate sizes. And in this series, I’m proud of how much detail I added into the pieces and how different they art from each other. In the past, I had never been able to pull off different scenes like that and have them look different.

 

            My learning could impact my culture by showing people to look through a new perspective. It could teach people how everything is the same yet also different when looking through that new perspective. Since all three of those pieces are different yet the same, it allows people to put it into a real-life point of view.

 

            If I had to do this again, I would approach how the characters look more different and distinctive from each other because all three of them have the same art style and it just looks a bit like copies of the same art style. I think it would change the series more and have a bigger impact on people when they see it.
