Thank you Jeremiah Wright for emphasizing that my student athletes writing and behavior are connected to the expectations you have of what it means to be a good citizen and an athlete who represents EMS.
Your support makes me feel that we are connected as a team trying to get these kids well rounded so that they can be successful adults no matter what they end up doing in life. "Life is a balancing act!"

Thank you John LaVergne for always having a smile on your face and being in the hall all the time. I know that it's good for the kids to see your kindness and compassion even though you could seem intimidating at first glance. I see how you care for the kids and really help them when they need it. I also appreciate that I can send them to you anytime and know that they are being listened to and cared for even though I can't take the time to do that for them.

I find it hard to just thank one person at EMS just because there are so many. From the people whom I can come to and will listen like Joey Hahn, Wendy Garz, Kim Hyde, Denise Sherman, and Janet Lovell - Smith. The people who share my weird personality and laughs like Millie Broner, Gerrit Schoonhoven, Brenda Elliott and Burns Leavitt. People I know outside of school like Millie Broner and Megan Ferrell. Those teachers whom are always there to help like Noreen Beesley, Marcie Heathman, Rebekah Jillson, and so many more. I know I have not even came close to naming or thanking everyone that has left an impression on me of what it means to be a team and support not only for our students, but for each other as well. That is what I love most about working here is how we support each other. Thank you all at EMS!

I'm back in the Happiness fray having put the shows to bed. There are so many to thank for contributing to my career here at EMS.
I want to thank Dana Williams who continues to encourage me when my personal perspectives get shaky. I've had the pleasure of teaching her boys, two gems in our schools, both major contributors to our drama program.

There is one here at EMS who bolstered my confidence when teaching was stressful and
I was questioning my abilities. Often it was reminders of student successes and the results we don't alway see.
