Washable paint could be used in the classroom for multiple things. One way I could use it would be to put a piece of paper along with the student's choice of colors in a ziplock bag and zip it up. This would allow students not to make a mess and get the opportunity to touch that paint(through the bag) with their fingers. This could be done when students want to create pictures or when practicing mixing/making various colors.

Creating faces with materials from nature

In this activity, the students will go into nature. They will not have many instructions on what to do besides to create their face out of materials that they find. To ensure safety students will only be allowed in a predetermined area that has been inspected and deemed safe. Here they will make their faces. When they are done they will find the instructor and the instructor will take a picture. Once all students are finished the class will go inside and each student will have the opportunity to share in front of the class what they made. They can share why they decided on certain objects for their face and what different items from nature represent. The lack of instructions and just being told to make their face this will nurture students' creativity because they won't be limited. When they are describing their face this will allow creativity and allow students to express themselves in the way in which they would like. Once done each student will be asked 2-3 questions from their peers and have the opportunity to answer them. This is a great activity for students to express themselves through art.
