Child soldiers are one of the most serious problems. The warlord choose them since they are easy to control, they haven’t developed a rational mind, and they can be influenced and stirred up with little effort. Once they are equipped with guns, they take everything they want wherever they go, and become a powerful and dangerous weapon for warlords. However, when the peace agreement was finally implemented, these women said, “how can we move on if we don’t forgive?” Unfortunately, I think forgiveness is the only solution for these women. They cannot ask these children to pay back. In the documentary, we can see these children rob and kill, but we also notice that they suffer from hunger and pain. They get killed or lose limbs in the war. Indeed, child soldiers are also victims. They are the sacrifice of the warlords who start the war because of their own selfish greed. So when I see this picture (children go back to their parents), I know that the problem of child soldiers is waited to be solved. They are not the devils that should go to hell, but children who should go back to their parents' arms.
