         <description><![CDATA[<p>When you name an action by imitating the sound associated with it, this is known as onomatopoeia.  An easier way of saying this is that onomatopoeias are sound words.   One example of onomatopoeia would be to say, “The bees BUZZ angrily when their hive is disturbed.”</p><p>1.  After you read the poem, list some onomatopoeias that are in the poem or ones that we could <span style="font-size: 13px;">say for each sound in the poem.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 13px;"> 2.  Read the poem with expression and make your </span><span style="font-size: 13px;">own sound effects!  </span><span style="font-size: 13px;">Examples: bloop, splash, sprinkle, squirt, drip, or drizzle.</span></p>]]></description>
