The Indian flag has three horizontal bands of color: saffron for courage and sacrifice, white for truth and peace, and green for faith, fertility, and chivalry.&nbsp;<br>4.An emblem of a wheel spinning used to be in the center of the white band, but when India gained independence, a Buddhist dharma chakra, or wheel of life, replaced the spinning wheel.<br>5.The earliest cotton in the world was spun and woven in India. Roman emperors would wear delicate cotton from India that they would call “woven winds.”&nbsp;<br>6.The Kumbh Mela (or Grand Pitcher Festival) is a huge Hindu religious festival that takes place in India every 12 years.          <description><![CDATA[<div>1.Victorian memorial is a large marble building in kolkata , west bengal , india.<br>2.It was built between in 1986 and 1921<br>3.It is dedicated to the memory of queen victoria (1819–1901) and is now a museum and tourist destination under the auspices of the ministry of culture.<br>4.The memorial lies on the <em>maidan</em>(grounds) by the bank of the hooghly river, near Jawaharlal Nehru road.<br>5.The Victoria Memorial's architect was william emerson (1843–1924), president of the royal insitute of british architects.</div><div>6.The design is in the indo sarasenic reviavilst style which uses a mixture of British and mughalelements with venetian, egyptian, deccani and islamic architectural influences.</div><div>7.The gardens of the Victoria Memorial were designed by lord redesdale. Emerson's assistant, vincent jerome designed the bridge of the north aspect and the garden gates.</div>]]></description>

Black in India has connotations with lack of desirability, evil, negativity, and inertia. It represents anger and darkness and is associated with the absence of energy, barrenness, and death. <br>3.Red is dynamic and It incites fear and is the colour associated with one of the most revered goddesses in Hindu mythology.<br>4.Because of the obvious diversity in its population, India is home to myriad interpretations and representations of symbols and colors. <br>5.Colors represent different emotions to people living in different regional, geographical, and religious divides.<br>6. Today, colours are used as symbols of fear, conformity, and blind faith across the country monopolized by the contorted ways of politics. <br>7. Perhaps one of the most poignant factors in the perception of colors in the Indian psyche is the religious undertones that coexist at almost every phase of an “Indian’s life.”</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

The instrument is believed to have been derived from the veena, an ancient Indian instrument, which was modified by a mughal court musician.<br>2.Sarangi - The <strong>s</strong>arangi<strong> </strong>is a bowed, short-necked string instrument from india as well as nepal and pakistan which is used in hindustan classical music It is the most popular musical instrument in the Western part of Nepal and is said to most resemble the sound of the human voice .</div><div>3.Shehnai - The shehnai, is a musical instrument similar to the oboe, common in india,pakistan and bangladesh. It is made out of wood, with a double reed at one end and a metal or wooden flared bell at the other end.<br>4.Tabla - The tabla is a  percussion instrument originating from the indian subcontinent, consisting of a pair of drums, used in traditional, classical, popular and folk music.It has been a particularly important instrument in hindustani classical music since the 18th century, and remains in use in india , pakistani and bangladesh.<br>5.Pakhavaj –  The pakhawaj or mridang is an Indian barrel-shaped, two-headed drum, a variant and descendant of the older mridang.It is the standard percussion instrument in the dhrupad style and is used as an accompaniment for various forms of music and dance performances.<br>6.Sitar - The <strong>sitar</strong> is aplucked string instument used in hindustani classical msuic and The instrument is believed to have been derived from the veena, an ancient Indian instrument, which was modified by a mughal court musician.</div>]]></description>
