this unit was really fun. we got to know about many new things about energy. Energy must be transferred to an object in order to perform tasks, or to heat the object. Energy is a conserved quantity; the law of conservation of energy states that energy can be converted in form, but not created or destroyed. i think kahoot quiz was fun we and it was learning based.the zoom sessions also were very interesting. learning the topic energy was really fun and amazing.
- shreya

I really enjoyed the unit Useful. Energy. It was fun learning about energy sources, energy types and renewable and non-renewable energy. Personally I enjoyed conversions the most. Learning about energy transfers was. also interesting.

I liked how we learnt through multiple videos and the model making activity was a lot of fun. The Criteria D that we had was also on a very interesting topic, I really enjoyed it as I got to learn more and more as I researched.

This semester we did something new and different because we had online school for the very first time. At first it was kind of weird but we all learnt a lot through out these sessions. Surprisingly zoom didn't lack anything, because it felt like you were there in school sitting class.

Overall, I really enjoyed this unit, it was a great learning experience. I look forward to these kind of units in the future.

- Ziya. Sheth

As per the law of conservation of energy; energy cannot be created nor destroyed.
Through the recent classes we have learnt about the sub topics that come under useful energy. Such as quantitative and qualitative energy, energy stored in food, etc.
We all knew the basic types of energy's but through the kahoot made by Kamalika ma'am, it helped us understand the other forms of energy that are safe for the environment. With the help of the kahoot we further learned about other forms of renewable and non-renewable resources.
Throughout these zoom sessions we learned a lot in a short period of time which I personally think it would not have been possible in school due to the events. It was an amazing experience.

Aarya Damle

Even in this quarantined environment our education system has not stopped. Instead we started doing online classes. It is agreed that normal classes are better than online classes, but in this situation this kind of learning has definitely helped everyone and we learnt a lot of new things. For instance, in physics we learn't that energy makes everything happen, the law of conservation of energy, qualitative and quantitative energy, different types of energy, and sources of energy. Not only this but we also had a Kahoot to test our knowledge and other tasks and activities.
These zoom sessions are really a unique way to learn which does not happen every other academic year. Even though this COVID-19 pandemic is a huge problem on the bright side, it gives students a whole new platform to learn on and a whole new experience all together. In short, it is an amazing experience.

Aashvi Rajpara
There are a lot of new things I have learnt in this unit. It was about the different types of energy sources, the units used to measure energy, the common units of energy, etc. I really enjoyed this unit. Personally i really enjoyed that we had made models for the transformation of energy. It was all really interesting and fun.
We learnt a lot in the zoom sessions in a short period of time, which I think is really good because in school, we had only 2 physics classes in 6 days so we had to go really slow.
Overall I enjoyed this unit a lot and it was a great experience.

Energy, in Physics, the capacity for doing work. It may exist in Potential, Kinetic , Thermal electrical, Chemical, Nuclear or other various forms. The SI unit of energy is the joule which is the energy transferred to an object by the work of moving it a distance of 1metre against a force of 1 newton. The various forms of potential energy include gravitational potential energy, elastic potential energy, chemical potential energy, and electrical potential energy. We also learnt about quantitative and qualitative energy

Learning on zoom was very interesting, fun and educational. I prefer online school as all you have to do is press a few buttons and its the same experience plus you can wake up later and the sessions are recorded so once the class is over you can watch the video and make notes just to make sure you have not missed anything. I really enjoyed this unit especially because of all the activities we did like zoom and making a hyperloop. I hope we can continue doing fun activities like this in the future.

Keyana
