And as and educator, my responsibility is to teach students and help them to enhance their skills to be a productive citizen someday.As one of my role as an educator, one part of my responsibility is to seek my student’s interest. Knowing also their backgrounds. So in that way, I can be able to create some activities that will catch their attentions and to help them to enhance it more and be comfortable in sharing his/her ideas to the class.One of my beliefs of how a child learn is that learning comes from home first. The parents is their first teacher who teach them good moral values and let them be a role model to their child.In additional, I believe in the saying that experiences is the best teacher indeed. As they grow, they can be able experience different scenarios in their lives that will teach them as time goes by and they can use it in expressing this inside the classroom. My beliefs in learning affects me in a way that it can also help me know my students, so that I will be capable of doing such activities related to their interests or according to their experiences. I can also balance the needs of an individual learner with the need of the classroom community in a way that may the students also have the same needs. And for some instances, I can talk to my student\s with a different need so that I can provide. And as a teacher, I also have a goal for my students. That is I want for them to finish their studies and be successful in the near future. For that, I can proudly say that I accomplished my duties as their teacher.Bringing global awareness is a important duty of a teacher to their students. For me, bringing global awareness in a classroom is that my responsibility is for them to accept difference of every individual that they will encounter. They have to understand that every individual has its own history and uniqueness. They don’t have to judge, discriminate, envy or to compare themselves to another. They just have to be contented of what they have and let just be themselves, everyone has its own role in a community. They have to know and enhance themselves in order to be a productive citizen in every aspects.
