We currently reside in Cerritos, California and I live with my younger brother and my father. My mother, Joy, used to be with us, but she passed away unexpectedly during her surgery back in January 30th of this year 2019. Myself, my family, our relatives, and my mom's co-workers/friends are still trying hard to recover since her death hit us all pretty hard psychologically because of how unexpected it was, but we're all still trying to stay strong and support one another even now. I would say that 'life's stimuli' could refer to events that occur within each of our lifetimes that result in certain responses within us mentally and/or emotionally. Sometimes we're affected by 'life's stimuli' positively, while other times we may be affected by 'life's stimuli' negatively. My perception of psychology has been shaped a lot by how I've seen and heard about how my mother lived her life. No matter how much stress, pain, hardship, or other difficult events my mom went through in her lifetime, she stayed strong mentally and emotionally, especially around my family, our relatives, her many friends, her hundreds of co-workers, her thousands of patients, and even me, her son. She would always tell me growing up, "life is full of challenges; don't give up". Bellow I've linked the article I chose back then. I think this article below is kind of relevant to the realm of psychology, while also being relevant to the realm of biology, because of how it discusses female subjects' levels of psychological attraction towards male subjects being somewhat affected by a hormone called androstadienone, which is a smell that our body naturally produces.
