Today, we live in a mostly democratic society. Although, living in a democratic society doesn’t mean we ourselves are democratic in practice. We can often see intolerance of opinions and discrimination because of the same. For instance, someone that has different opinions than the community at large may often be discriminated and sometimes will be excluded from participating in democratic acts. Our project mainly aims at providing opportunities to learn more about the terms democracy, democratic participation and study ,understand and internalize the core values of democracy "Freedom, respect for differences, justice, tolerance and equality" and to help better understand European diversity.

By taking part in different activities, volunteering for tasks, using Web 2.0 tools, interacting and cooperating with their European peers, they are also expected to have beter communication, cooperation, team-work and language skills.
Thanks to partners from different parts of Europe, they are also expected to learn more about European diversity and ultimately have more knowledge and internalize the values to become good citizens of European society.
