4stars. I really like the how the documentary shows more to one side of the flu problem. Specifically, the part I find interesting is the investment part of developing a vaccine on how hard it is for researchers to keep their vision while find the funding necessary for the research. I also like how they try to relate different aspects of the flue and things related from different parts of the world. However, I give it 4 stars because the "chapters" in the episode make it hard to focus on one of the stories.

3 stars. While, I've not finished watching the documentary, I quite enjoyed the development of documentary. It was an investigation on doping, however, later on the documentary the main focus of the movie kind of changes its focus. Rather than investigating whether doping was viable but the documentary gave a closer outlook on the controversy with the Russian doping. Through out the documentary there are exchanges between Fogel and different experts. The information shown was quite shocking as well. But the movie might not be everyone's cup of tea since it's not something to take lightly.

Season 1 Episode 6: Don't Stop Now

5 stars.
Some interesting things that I've learned in this episode:

3s = staff, space, supply
Countries have spent money equivalent of half of an air craft on bio defense. However, the death caused by wars in the last century is far less than those who were killed by illness. Government invests a significant capital whenever a pandemic occurs, but they tend to "slack" once the pandemic seizes. This model of investment in bio defense is very unsustainable. Many doctors and nurses are working in 72 hours shift. Hence, doctors rarely has the time to invest in their personal life such as relationships, family, and hobbies.

4/5 stars. Some episodes are really interesting and cover things that are especially prevalent to our world today. A major point brought up was the multiple perspectives, such as those of the anti-vaxers and the mom who couldn't send her kid to school, bringing in a lot of moral and ethical lenses. Additionally, there were a lot of points like the difficulties in getting funding, and hospitals where resources were limited and how they had their own struggles. Topics like testing for new vaccines in order to combat potential mutations were brought to light, not just looking at the past of pandemics but seeing what improvements can be made for the future. It holds a very chilling parallel with our world today, and the scary part is how even with all this knowledge about pandemics, the response to Covid19 has not been as successful as would be expected. However, it's hard to follow sometimes especially between episodes and the way that multiple points weave in together.
