You could definitely make a kit you just need plans like blueprints. Kites have different types of designs and styles so you could pick to put hazel stripes with blue fire designs. Your options to make kites can almost be endless. 
In this picture I have made my one kite I think of adding more color to it but I call this the ultra kite beta.
