Writing is something I struggle with no matter the subject. However writing about about myself seems impossible, what could possibly be important? Or even interesting for someone to read. As of right now, I only have my outline. Next I am going to go in and start creating my paragraphs, then making the paper. A traditional recipe from my parents hometown. The plate is served at any Mexican party with a side of pork beans and a pasta. The plate includes pork meat, and potatoes. The taste is unexplainable, but one of my personal favorite.
I’ll add the ingredients lists below: Do not forget to add a side of pork bean and a pasta.

Costilla de res
Chambarete con hueso o sin hueso
Papa cabray
Zanahoria
Chile poblano
Comino
Ajo
Orégano
Consomé en polvo
Pimienta
Salal
Brandy
Chile ancho

You will mix all the chiles in a blender and then boil the meat and potatoes in a big pot.

I am pretty good writer I would say in any subject, but I must always need a outline when I am responding to prompts and I usually do it on paper. Usually my outline would be listings of evidences that I can use for my paper and then I would literate how it will support the prompt, such as explaining what that quote or piece of evidence means. Having an outline helps me get an idea of what I am writing and mainly plans out the actual structure of each paragraph because I can't write a paper on the spot like some people do. I haven't actually started because I sorta forgot about it, but I'll plan on working it before the due date and that once I have the outline/rough draft planned, writing for me will be second nature for me. As for a family recipe, my grandma is usually the one that is the hardcore cooker within my family, but one of my favorite dishes from her is the sea-food Mexican styled dish, Ceviche. Normally, this dish would be perfect for the summer time, but I love dish in general. Regarding to the taste, it depends on how it is made, such as one person may like it spicy or sweet, but for me, I preferably love it when its sweet.

Ingredients:
- Limes
-Shrimp
- Cilantro
- Cucumber
- Tomatoes
- White/Red Onions
- 2x Tamato & Shrimp Cocktail Juice (Camaronazo) p.s. this is what gives its' sweet flavor*
- Imitation of Crab
- Eat it with a spoon or with Tostadas

I am a good writer, not the best and not the worst, overall I am confident in my writing. It has been my strongest subject in school ever since I was young. With that being said, writing about yourself however can be tough, I struggle with how much I should write, how personal should I get, how detailed should I get, etc. Every time I write a paper related to my life; whether its a personal statement, autobiography or anything that depicts my life; I cry. Its therapeutic afterwards and it makes me appreciate my life that much more but it is definitely hard to do.
A traditional plate and one of my favorites is chilaquiles, which is fried tortilla chips dipped in green or red salsa accompanied with refried beans, cheese, sour cream, a couple strands of onion and a well-cooked or sunny-side up egg accompanied with a side of toast. I absolutely love it it is my favorite brunch/breakfast Mexican plate. (P.S. if you cut and fry your own tortilla chips instead of using bought fried tortilla chips your chilaquiles taste soooooo much tastier.)

Truly I have not started, but I do plan to start very soon. I believe I work good under pressure. I was reading the questions. It seems very interesting I am kinda excited to write about myself. Although, I do not know if there is enough information to write about.
Quite frankly, I do not cook at all. I mean I have cooked eggs and that is about it. Pancakes when I was smaller, but my mom hates cooking. She also hates when we cook in her kitchen. So, I will be sharing my favorite food which is ramen and sushi. I want to learn to cook, but my mom does not allow for anyone to cook in her kitchen.

Growing up I've always loved writing papers especially if its something I'm really interested in. I have not yet started writing my autobiography but I will be starting on it soon. When it comes to writing about myself I absolutely love it because that's when I feel free I get to express my emotions, feelings and thoughts. It's also a type of stress reliever for me because I'm able to let it all out. Although, sometimes I try not to put too much information about myself in a paper but sometimes that's just the best thing to do because you let it all out.
A family recipe we have would be panes rellenos it is a Salvadorian dish. My mom typically only makes this once a year and that's on New Years eve. Its basically like a torta you need bread, mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickle, radish and turkey.

I always loved the idea of a family recipe being passed down from generation to generation especially when it stays as good as it taste throughout the years. One of my family recipes is pizza. I know, almost anyone can make pizza. But my grandmothers pizza is so soft and fluffy while also having flavor and the secret sauce she makes is just delicious and adds so much to the pizza itself. She also has her own pizzeria in Mexico. Another one of our family recipes is picones. If you don’t know what that is it’s kind of like a sweet bread. I remember when I was younger my grandmother would always make it in the weekends to sell and I could eat the dough nonstop it was delicious it was my version of cookie dough really.

I haven't started writing my paper however I have read through the prompts of the autobiography and brainstormed how I can go about writing about the different topics since for me writing tends to be a long process
A Family recipe I can share is Bionico which is a dessert . It can be consider a fruit salad with creme (crema) with different toppings. To make this you would need some chopped fruits most bionicos consist of (apples , strawberries , grapes , melons , pears , papayas). Once your have you fruit in a container we will make the creme , to make make the creme you will need pint of plain yogurt which we will add to our fruit after we will add condensed milk to our fruit which then will mix it all (depending how sweet you will like it you can add about 1- 2 1/2 small cans of it ) after you may add all topping you may like , toppings such as granola . coconut shavings and even mini marshmallows can be added to this . There we have it we have our bionico :)

After, I like to organize everything I wrote into an outline, that I can later use to write my paper. Writing this autography has been very interesting, I have learned things about my family and myself that I never payed attention to that we did, or how we functioned as a whole in reference to what I have learned in this course. A recipe I want to share is a fruit salad my family and I make for the holidays. The ingredients we use are: Apples, grapes, pineapple, pears, coconut scrapes, marshmallows, raisons, granola, sweetened condensed milk, and evaporated milk all mixed together.

Hello class,
The prompts for the biography are tough, it's like doing shadow work in a way. It brought up some memories I wanted to forget but I guess it's good to talk about, it made me who I am and I can learn to break the cycle or repeat (i want to break it). A recipe I have are tamales. I learned it from my Mama Bena, my great grandmother, she made them back in her pueblo in Mexico for as long as I could remember. She would grab a corn husk and rub masa all over it with the juice she would prepare for the turkey. Then put some peas, carrots, olives, a slice of jalapeno, a slice of potato, and turkey meat or chicken meat. This has been a tradition to make every christmas for as long as I could remember. My grandma would make them every year, I had the honor on learning how to do it myself two years ago and it is a tradition I will pass onto my husband and kids. Hope everyone is doing well!

In terms of the autobiography, I do like to write, although I do not think I am the best writer, especially when it comes to writing about myself. I find it hard to reveal elements about myself, especially personal ones. I'm also not good at being descriptive about subjects that involve me. Since the autobiography is intended to be a long, thorough examination about my personal experiences, it can be hard for me to delve into specific aspects of my childhood because my memory isn't the best and I find it hard to pin point certain experiences. So I think it would be best if I brainstorm some experiences that answer the questions before starting to write the autobiography, so I could have something to reference.
Now onto one of my favorite family recipes: shrimp cocktails. In general, I love any food with shrimp because I love shrimp, but shrimp cocktails are one of my favorites. I've never actually made this recipe before because I am not a fan of cooking, so I'll just list the ingredients for you all.
Ingredients:
-chopped onions
-squeezed lime juice
-medium cooked and peeled shrimp
-chopped tomatoes
-chopped cucumber
-chopped celery
-Clamato juice
-squeezed ketchup
-chopped cilantro
-chopped avocados (optional; I don't really like avocados so I prefer it without it, but my mom and other family members like it so they always add it into their shrimp cocktail)

Writing has never been my strongpoint, but I always know as long as I hit everything that was needed for it I should be fine. One of my favorite family recipes would be shrimp aguachiles, which consists of shrimp cooked in lime, then you'll blend green tomatillos, some onion, and green serranos to the liking of how spicy you would like it to be. You then put it in a bowl and let it cook for 1 hour. (the lime cooks the shrimp) Once done you top with chopped cucumber and red onion. You can then enjoy with tostadas or crackers, maybe some avocado and hot sauce. I'm sure everyone makes it different, but this is how my family makes it.

Ok so let me start off by saying.. I had no clue about the autobiography. But I do now! And I think I'll be able to get it done just fine. My usual routine for writing goes like this:
1. I should be fine, I'll for sure get it done early. 2. Fails to start early multiple times until I REALLY gotta do it. 3. Struggle to write the first sentence/paragraph. 4. Breeze through the rest.
Will Osmar be able to break the cycle this time? who knows. As for the food, well I am very much an amateur. I can cook the most basic stuff like rice and beans and maybe grill some burgers but I am only kind of ok at it. My favorite dish my mom makes is some mole with rice and beans. Mole is made differently by pretty much every other Hispanic family but the one my mom makes is usually on the thicker side, a little spicy but mostly sweet. There's like some chocolate and peppers in there or something with shredded chicken. Still need to learn exactly how to make it ngl smh.

I honestly panic a bit when it comes to writing an essay because it can be difficult to word my thoughts and organize them in a clear form, but Honestly I am feeling a bit confident on the autobiography because it’s about myself and my life, so I don’t think it should be too stressful. One of my favorite foods my mom makes is her birria. It’s honestly the best birria I have ever had and I have never tried making it myself, so I don’t the exact recipe, but the ingredients are : carne de chivo, clavo, pimienta , jengibre, hoja de laurel chiles puya, sal, tomillo .

My paper is coming along nicely. I was a bit intimidated at first because of the length of the paper and the personal questions, but I've actually been enjoying revealing more about myself and talking about my personal experiences. I've never considered myself to be a good writer because a lot of the time I'm not too interested in whatever I'm writing about, but talking about myself is very easy, especially since the professor laid out all the topics we should be covering.

Ceviche de jaiba y camaron

chopped shrimp
chopped imitation crab
chopped cucumber
chopped tomato
chopped cilantro
chopped red onion
lime juice

Hey everyone. Although I like writing, I don't think I'm the best writer. So, I'm a little nervous about the autobiography. I'm not sure what things about myself I would even include. I hope that it can at least be inspiring in some way--aren't autobiographies supposed to be that way? Anyways, I don't have the exact recipe for this cheesecake we like to make around the holidays but I do know the ingredients. It's not so bad:
pie crust
lots of cream cheese
lechera
and some condensed milk I believe. you mix it all together, pour it in the pie crust. Bake until ready and it's done. I haven't had this pie in a while, but it's so good.
