I try not to think about legacy too much, because it's not too important to me. That sounds bad, but I just think about how everyone is going to die one day and you won't have a legacy because no one will remember anyone. So I guess I don't really live in fear that my legacy will be bad, I just try to live to make myself happy today. However, after I die I would like people to think I was a kind person. I'd say that part is pretty important to me. I just think people shouldn't spend too much time worrying about that.

i think that having a legacy isn't important because when you leave behind a legacy its because you want people to remember you but if you do good in your life and are happy with what you have done then why do you care if people remember you or not because at the end of the day the only ones that will remember you are your family and your best friends and they will know what you did in your life so as long as the people you care about remember you then why do you care if random people that you have never met remember you. i think that the people that want to be remember by everyone only want that because they weren't happy with what they did in there life.

I don't think having a legacy is that important. Everyone dies and most people don't leave a legacy behind other then their family's that will hopefully go on and grow but some people spend to much time trying to leave a legacy after they die that they forget to live along the way. If you are a happy person you wont chance after a legacy because you know whatever happens its still what you left behind with no regrets.

The only thing that is important is that my family and friends remember me. I do want to leave a positive legacy behind but only to the people I really care about.

I don’t think too much of my legacy, I am still quite young and have a lot to experience. However, I think that subconsciously everybody is working towards their legacy. Everyday people are trying to improve on themselves as a person. Whether somebody is working towards improving at school, or a sport, or they are trying to improve their character, everyone is constantly striving to better themselves in some way, building their legacy in the process.

When I die I want to be remembered as someone who made a contribution. If this contribution is made globally or just in my community it does not matter to me. I just want to be remembered for somebody who had a positive impact on other people’s lives.

I try not to think about what legacy will be. Instead, I think it's better to just be the best version of yourself as often as possible, and set big goals for yourself. That way your legacy will come naturally, that way you don't have to worry about it. So in a way, I just want my legacy to be how people interpret me on a daily basis.

In the poem, it seemed Ozymandias cared a lot about his legacy, and I don't relate much with that at all, as legacy is something I ignore entirely.

My legacy doesn't matter to me, as my legacy only exists after I die. After i'm dead it won't matter to me in the slightest what people think of me or what my legacy is, because I'll already be dead. This viewpoint allows me to focus more on creating better experiences for myself while I'm alive, when these things actually affect me.

"Legacy, what is a legacy?, It's planting seeds in a garden you never get to see, I wrote some notes at the beginning of a song someone will sing for me". (Lin Manuel Miranda - Hamilton - "The World Was Wide Enough") I think that a legacy is important for people to have, because if not, they will be forgotten after 3 or 4 generations. The problem is that to leave a legacy, you must do something big, and life changing. Not everyone is ready to take a leap of faith, or to risk losing everything they have to leave behind a legacy. For example, the band Queen, who will be remembered for many generations, risked everything. They lost their regular jobs to dedicate their lives to music, which ended up working out very well for them. I hope to leave behind a legacy where people remember me for changing their lives. I hope to make peoples lives better, and I hope to be remembered for that.

Lola Michieli
Everyone leaves behind a legacy because each person has there own life and in there lifetime they will be known for something. I think being a good person and doing good for other people is important because that will be apart of your legacy, even if you don't think it matters now it will matter one day when you've passed away and people will remember you a certain way. I want to be a nurse one day so I want my legacy to be how I saved lives/brought lives into the world.

I think a "legacy" is a pretty strong concept for most people to even think of leaving behind in their lifetime. Everyone will have a small legacy within their circle of family and friends when they're gone, But I think it's even difficult for famous people to leave behind a true "legacy". It takes a lot of courage, bravery, and influence on the world to become a true legend. Just because you're a famous singer or actor/actress I don't think that automatically leaves you a legacy behind. Martin Luther King is a great example of someone who left behind a true legacy. He did amazing things and had a positive impact on the world. Everyone knows who he is and he is still celebrated to this day. To me, that is a legacy. I don't personally think I have a legacy at all yet, and I don't relate to it very much. I don't even know if I care to have a legacy when I'm gone. I don't really know what path I want to go down in my life yet. The idea of fame for doing something great in the world of course excites me. If I did leave behind a legacy, I would want it to be for doing something creative that changed people, places, or things for the better.
