The Boston Massacre showed people that British soldiers were willing to kill colonists. More people got stirred up afterwards and people started to disagree with the intentions of the British. For example, Samuel Adams supported the patriots but his cousin, John Adams, disagreed with the patriots and agreed more with the British soldiers. He even supported them in court. The Boston tea party showed that the patriots were willing to do anything for their rights. Before, for most of the taxes, the patriots would get mad, but they really wouldn’t do anything. But for the tea act, they showed, rather than tell, that they were fed up with these taxes. They showed they were mad by dumping all the tea into the ocean. More people would definitely see how the Patriots were right in being mad about the unjust teases. The Intolerable acts was the last tax or punishment from Great Britain, but this event really sparked up the attention of everyone. King George enforced a series of laws in 1774, which earned its name “Intolerable” because it was so harsh. The Quartering act was one of these. The Quartering Act was where the colonists had to provide necessities for British soldiers sent to the colonies. The 1st Continental Congress was the first meeting where the colonies got together and contemplated the idea of:
1) Rebelling against Great Britain
2) Colonies unification.
