I loved that we got to experiment with all the different types of under glazes. I felt for the most part that my assignment was unique and organic. There hardest part of this project was the beginning because it keep cracking and con-caving which gave it a really cool design. This project can not hold water because I cut into it. I felt that I use as much of my creativity into this project so it can look supper cool. This project was super fun. And I felt it was a lot more challenging than my pinch pot. You had to blend the coils every time you made one. There was a lot of scoring and slipping. I loved the earth ton glazes we used because they were super mellow and very pleasing to the eye and I love the way all the colors turned out. I'm doing a vase and the reason why I chose not to do a lantern was because I don't really use candles. I don't have an inspiration for this project yet. I'm still trying to figure out what I want on it and what I don't want on it. I have roses on it and I hope to use a super cool crystal glaze which will make it look super awesome. I hope nothing will blow off my project.
