Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is."
Ephesians 5:15-17

My current integrated Biblical worldview is that one should be intentional when it comes to spending time with God and not be driven by how you feel at the moment. It is something that needs to be practiced daily to strengthen your faith. I recently learned that if you are driven by your flesh to worship God, the times will be so few it will get to the point where you no longer want to do it. It needs to be intentional.

God has been refining me this week. He has taught me how to trust Him. It hurts so much but my spirit knows that it will give fruit. As leaders, we have to learn how to trust God and walk on the promise that He has made. Otherwise, we will go nowhere. Truly. I have learned that when God declares something over your life, the attacks from the devil get immediately stronger in order for you not to believe it. But we have to learn how to resist and still have our hearts to God.

In conclusion, hold on to God. Walk on His promises. You know that it will give fruit because it was God’s breath over you.

As I wrote my Good vs Evil Essay, I could not help it but reflect on Donald Trump and a Biblical worldview that I could get out of him. He says he is Christian, but doesn’t act like it. He is a leader. Would that make him a Christian leader? Even though I personally do not like Trump, it is a fact that he has done things for the Christian community during his presidency. I don’t think that automatically makes him a Christian leader, though. To be one, you have to have Jesús’ love control you. That is the way to know if someone is Christian. But the point of this is not to criticize Trump but rather get a Biblical worldview out of him. We are supposed to love our neighbors, not just say we do. It is an action that needs to be carried out daily.

“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." - John 13:35

Since I found out that my most dominant type of leadership is transformational, I am going to share some things that I learned from it.

"Transformational leadership is a theory of leadership where a leader works with teams to identify needed change, creating a vision guide the change through inspiration, and executing the change in tandem with committed members of a group. Transformational leadership is when leader behaviors influence followers and inspire them to perform beyond their perceived capabilities. Transformational leadership inspires people to achieve unexpected or remarkable results. It gives workers autonomy over specific jobs, as well as the authority to make decisions once they have been trained."

The strongest areas that have been marked in my MLQ Qualifier are idealized influence addn inspirational motivation. Idealized influence can be defined as those who have become role models to their followers, making them admired, respected, and trusted. Inspirational motivation can be defined as the leader’s ability to inspire confidence and motivation to their followers. On the other hand, the weakest areas that have been marked are the intellectual stimulus and the laissez-faire. The intellectual stimulus can be defined as the leader who inspires innovation, creativity, and the want to do different things in others. Laissez-faire, I did not understand much of its meaning, but from the little that I understand it means to leave alone. Therefore, my two strengths give evidence that I am a transformational leader. In fact, there were not many differences between that of my evaluator. We both affirmed the questions, some with slight differences.
During these evaluations, I expected some things and other things not so much. For example, I expected for my peers and I to have completely opposite answers; however, all of our answers were very similar. Another thing that I did not think was for my peers and supervisor to think that I inspire others. It took me by surprise, especially coming from my supervisor because that means a lot. Another thing that took me by surprise is the fat that they think I am admirable (idealized influence). At least that is what I got from the meaning of those two words. However, having scored so little in intellectual stimulus really wore me off. I know I am not supposed to be perfect but sometimes I forget that.
This evaluation can help me because I now know where the things that I am lacking. I personally love to always work to be a better version of myself, so knowing these push me forward. The way I plan to continue growing is by always looking at the example of Jesus Christ. The only perfect and holy one. By studying and analyzing the way He acted in the Gospels, I know exactly how I should act. I can also look at the examples of the Father and the Holy Spirit in order to grow spiritually and become more mature in my Christian leadership.

What I take with me the most are the Laws of Leadership. Some of these come natural to me, but most of them I need to constantly work on. For example I need to work on the Law of Solid Ground and apply to my life. I am a person who is sometimes a hypocrite, so I must align my thoughts and words with my actions in order to form credibility amongst those who surround me.

2. Based on what you have learned about Christian Leadership, how would you sum up God’s calling in your life?

The primary calling in every Christians’ life is to glorify Him, to live according to His word and to spread the Gospel. He calls us to be leaders, not set by worldly standards, which lead to nothing, but according to Biblicsl standards. We are called to lead people to the truth (whether the truth in question appeals to their version of truth or not) through our actions and way of living, and we ought to do it boldly. We should not be ashamed of the Gospel and as Christian leaders, we are called to carry our crosses on our backs.

3. Based on what you have learned from Transactional and Transformational Leadership, which traits do you consider a strength in your life and which would you need to strengthen? Explain why.

According to what I see in myself and what my peers see in me, I am a transformational leader. I am a people person. I appeal to their emotions and bring them support through Biblical truth. I would say that one of my strengths is that I can give biblically-sound advice through the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. However, one of the traits that I need to strengthen is my bravery. To be an actual Transactional Leader, one must be brave enough to correct others, and that is a trait that I simply do not have (yet).

Since this Padlet will no longer be used for academic purposes, I plan on converting it to my diary. The essence of the Padlet will be kept the same: I will be writing down everything that God teaches me on the daily, and important lessons that I acquire from my friends and leaders. Learning is something that will never stop. There is so much to learn and I do not have a good memory for that.

Intuition is a God-given gift. It is one of the many things that differ us from plants and animals, because they do not have spirits to discern.

Intuition is used to know right versus wrong in all its areas. Some are born with it, some have to exploit it, and some simply do not have it nor care enough to pursue it.

Connection is essential for humans, especially Christians. God desgined us for community, for union, for commuion. He desires for us to be connected, which is why we have the church.

Connection is important because it appelas to the heart, not the mind alone. it appeals to the emotions, and we can be empathetic to them. We can learn to understand others, give them advice, and help them edure tough times.

Connection helps growth. It not only helps the individual but the body of Christ as a whole.
