In Skyrim, each Hold (capital city) has it's own police force, which restrict the actions of the Dragonborne to the best of their ability and protect it's citizens from danger. During one of the first missions, the Dragonborne must make their way to Whiterun (the first capital city most who follow the storyline come across) so they can meet with the Thane (leader of the capital city.)  In order for them to gain access into Whiterun, the Dragonborne must convince the external posted Whiterun City Guard to allow them to enter. It provides protection through allowing a defensive structure between outside threats and creates a boundary for the city (or cell) to operate. The Dragonborne (playable character) is an example of the nucleus, because it is responsible for controlling are movements and descisions that affect the health and survival of cell. It holds the customizations that made that particular player character, stated customizations representing a living being's DNA.

Proteins are necessary for all life-providing mechanisms of cells, like repairing damage or directing chemical processes. 

In the case of Skyrim, alchemy tables that are used to create health potions (which act like proteins, healing character players and providing antidotes for poisons and such.) At the alchemy table, ingredients picked up throughout the natural environment of the game (like Elves Ears and Blue Mountain Flowers) and have effects that can be mixed with other ingredients to create potions for various reasons. As in real life, anything natural is related to all other natural organisms through DNA, and so is the same in Skyrim, where all ingredients are natural. 


Ribosomes connect to the ER, which uses ribosomes to guarantee quality control and the export of certain proteins to certain departments. In this sense, Skyrim examples of ribosomes could include any form of workbench used to better equip the player,  because various workbenches serve various beneficial functions to the player.

It often appears as two interconnected sub-compartments, namely rough ER and smooth ER. Both types consist of membrane enclosed, interconnected flattened tubes. The function between the two subunits covers the synthesis/modification of proteins and other substances like lipids, and the distribution of these substances by vesicles. 

In Skyrim, there are a number of faction guilds that are merchant based and available for the Dragonborne to join. One of the main currency based factions is the Thieves Guild, which operate as an underground "criminal" organization who will acquire any sort of good for a fee. They also have numerous members who craft deadly and obscure potions/items that they trade or deliver to customers. The Thieves Guild is an incredibly complex faction that spreads throughout all 12 Holds (capitals) in Skyrim and has connections to all considerable leaders and influential organizations outside of Skyrim.

An example of rough ER's and Skyrim could include any number of the merchant shops that provide supplies for the Dragonborne, within these shops one can engage in transactions for purchasing or selling items (beneficial like proteins, relative to cell survival) and can improve on the effectiveness of these items (quality.)

It also has a detoxification function. A major difference between the smooth ER & the rough ER is the lack of ribosomes present on the surface of the folded membranes on the smooth ER. 

The smooth ER's connection to Skyrim could be the simple presence of stamina/health bars for the Dragonborne. The stamina/health bars display metabolic processes regarding the digestion of food products/health potions to heal the player, which in turn fuel the ability for the stamina bar of the Dragonborne to regenerate.

The Dragonborne harnesses the loot of many defeated enemies or treasure troves, and so surely they have an extensive inventory to hold all valuable products and items found while out adventuring. There are certain merchants within Skyrim that take stolen goods (operating in the seedier organizations, the beforementioned Thieves Guild or the Dark Brotherhood) that other normal vendors won't take. There's also Khajitt merchants who come from a faraway land called Elseyr, who deal with caravan trading and will buy whatever off of you they can. The Khajitt are considered lower-caste compared to the "Nords" of Skyrim. Otherwise known as microbodies and found in both animal and plant cells, they produce hydrogen peroxide as a by-product of decomposition, which is toxic to cells normally but peroxisomes are equipped with certain enzymes that can convert hydrogen peroxide to water. Peroxisomes detoxify cells through their presence in the liver and through oxidization.

Skyrim has toxins and poisons that can be administered onto weapons of all kinds and then used to attack enemies, and the detoxifying affect of peroxisomes relates to some of the "cure-alls" known in the Skyrim universe.

In Skyrim, the Dragonborne is exposed to many different skills and tactics to defeat foes and progress in the games. Besides stamina, which is the bar given to provide energy monitoring for physical actions like attacking with melee weapons and running, there is also the "mana" bar, which allows the character to harnass magical powers to perform spells like a magician/shaman. Such spells include healing and various other forms, from ones that provide balls of light to allow the character to see at night or in dark caves to ones that are offensive and cast damage on enemies. The health spells in particular are similar to photosynthesis, because both harness natural energy to heal/provide energy for their "user."

The centrioles are like the warring factions of the Skyrim universe, which constantly cause civil wars (like the one going on between the two political factions the Stormcloaks vs, the Imperials) and cause the people of Skyrim to divide and lay waste to their native country.
