In 2nd of November, Southern University College was celebrating the Deepavali festival at the Hall was ongoing some activity to celebrate the Deepavali event.

Traditional Food

Tasted some traditional food such as Masala Tea, Ginger Tea, Ulundu Vadai which is very crispy and a little spicy and Gulab Jamun which shown in picture that is a small brown and it tastes super sweet.

Famous Traditional food

Another which is Toseh and it called Tosai too and some Murukku. We believed that these two foods are familiar to us and also that it was common in Indian's foods.

Henna

Traditional Indian Painting. Henna has a variety of patterns to show its beauty and understood that it is a natural pigment made form a plant called Henna tree. It will disappear at least one to two weeks.

Traditional Clothes and Kolam

Variety of traditional clothes were displayed before our eyes. Besides, we also saw some many beautiful Kolam. It is a floor drawing made from colored rice flour and it can from of traditional decorate art to create a geometric drawing.

Introduction about Deepavali

Deepavali, also known as Divali. It is the Festival of Lights, and it is one of the most important for Hindu to celebrate this festival in Malaysia. It was like stepping into a vibrant world of colors and delicious food. Exploring the Deepavali event was a new and unique experience for us. This is because that it can made us to realize that the beauty of different cultures in Malaysia.

We're so grateful that Ms Shalini that giving us the opportunity to experience this activity. Although this festival of Deepavali is an Indian festival we can't ignore it. We were born and live in Malaysia. So, we should know love and respect this festivals of all ethnic groups.
