You could also do it by cleaning your community by picking up garbage and using the recycling or garbage can. I try to always help with the waste and use refillable water bottles. Also you can run full loads of dishes and wash, turn the sink off when you brush your teeth.

Everyone who has different skin should have equal rights. It's not fair if you are black and you don't get to sit with your friends because they are white. To illustrate that value I walked right outside our school and found a recycling bin. I saw many actually, this shows how people can help the environment. By recycling you are helping the earth, you're helping our town by making it a cleaner place. Picking up litter is also a form of taking care of the earth, so if you saw something on the ground that was recyclable you could just drop it in a recycling bin and make our environment just a little bit healthier. If everyone did their part in keeping the earth clean, we would have such a beautiful world. While I was walking around getting pictures for this assignment I saw litter on the side of the roads. I picked them up and put them in their proper place, the trash. If everyone could just recycle, and throw away their garbage and help/respect the environment. Surrounding the clock tower are many beautiful plants that were planted by the Allendale Garden Club. This can either resemble helping your community or helping the environment. The Allendale Garden Club did an act of community service because they choose to plant flowers around the clock tower. By the Allendale Garden Club planting all these lovely plants it helps the environment as well. Plants help the environment in many ways. One way is that plants take away some of the carbon dioxide in the air and give oxygen which we need to survive. Another thing is, that it gives wildlife shelter and food to eat. Therefore this both helps the community and the environment.

They didn’t need to go. In the firehouse there is a sign up sheet, you can sign that sheet and you can go to the memorial. That sign up sheet was full. I know this because my dad is a firefighter. When the sign up sheet was full he got disappointed . So, he signed up for backup crew. He stayed at the firehouse just in case there was a fire call and go on another truck with other firefighters and go help. That shows that the firefighters of Allendale take time out of their day to go sign up and be there to respect.

By picking up and throwing away something that will probably not decompose in the environment for many years, it is keeping the environment clean. Therefor helping the environment, and showing an act of citizenship. Even though picking up one piece of garbage off of the floor isn't doing a lot, it still makes an impact. If everyone does a small deed like this one, it can then create a huge impact on the world.

The nursing home is full of older people who need help completing everyday tasks. This represents lending a helping hand because the people living here are being helped by nurses and other workers. This represents citizenship because these people are helping each other out instead of turning or backs on them. A big part of citizenship is coming together to help. Even though this is just one place, there are many more nursing homes or assisted living places where there are more people helping those who are less fortunate.

And while there are a lot of people that help and we can't have a statue of every single person that has ever recycled. I think it's nice to have a statue some main people that mainstream that idea. Also the planet in this country are so we should keep it clean and the not as polluted as some other places such as China. in China there is a constant fog of pollution and  people even have to wear surgical masks in some areas where they go outside. I don't want America to turn out like that so we should keep on Recycling and keep our country as clean as possible so we don't end up like some other very polluted countries.
