2. Work collaboratively to complete the Texas Reality Check.
3. Explore! Explore the career clusters, videos, and education options. I encourage you to have your student keep a journal or take notes. 
4. Discuss finances. Be candid with your student about the costs of education and professional training. Encourage them to research scholarship and grant opportunities. Money matters!
5. Be sure to utilize the Parents Toolkit! It contains valuable resources for parents looking to assist in their childs future planning. 
6. Lastly, collaborate with your counselor! I am here to help and I would love to be apart of your students future planning.
