Pick key words to have them say and sound out. Then have them also label each item using the key words. Then have them make a book off of the pictures and story. </div>]]></description>

Have 20-30 cards made with different words on them from a,a-a,ay, and ai sound pattern. Then deal each player cards until all is passed out. Then start with one person dealing a pattern card and everyone go's unless they don't have the pattern then they have to pass. You want to begin once everyone is out of that pattern sound and begin with another one in the first players hand. Play until someone runs out of cards and they are declared the winner. </div>]]></description>

Have them work and talk with a partner. then have a list of words for the students to put into categorizes based on their root word. Then have one person be the host and three constants, taking turns between students. The first player starts the game by turning two cards over and trying to match the words.
