Hi all. Introduce my name is Faradziba Rahayu S.I.R you can call Fara. I live in Jember, Kebonsari, Indonesia. I am currently studying at the Jember State Polytechnic and am in my second semester. Why did I choose Polije, because it is my second dream campus after UB (Universitas Brawijaya). Because I can't go to UB, because it's hindered by the blessing of my family and to be precise, my parents don't allow me to be away from them. I'm at Polije majoring in Animal Husbandry with the Poultry Business Management Study Program. Before I continue the story about my campus, I want to tell you a little about the Vocational High School at SMKN 5 Jember.

Okay, I'll start the story, guys. I used to study at SMKN 5 Jember which took the same as my major on campus, namely Animal Husbandry. Why? because I want to continue my knowledge, teaching and expertise in the field of animal husbandry. In the past, when I was in the first grade of SMK, I had experienced an internship at a large company called PT. Charoend Pokphand 7 in Jombang, East Java, Indonesia for two months. At that time I didn't feel like going, because I didn't want to be separated from my parents. However, the conditions from my school required me to leave because if I didn't take the internship, I couldn't go to class. So I was forced to leave. I was not alone there, there were about twenty friends, namely Melda, Yoga, Via, Nala, Dafian, Zainul and many more of my friends. After 4-5 hours of traveling from Jember to Jombang, we finally arrived. Once there, the next day we began to carry out the tasks and orders given by the manager there. There all workers enter from 7 am to 4 pm. With 2 breaks. There we were taught starting from cleaning the surrounding cage field, then cleaning the cage equipment, washing the cage (sterilization) and starting maintenance after 3 days of cage sterilization. We were there like romusha work which really drained our energy, starting from feeding, changing drinking places, giving vaccines, night watch, and there was no holiday for us there except the workers. We did this every day barefoot, until my feet and other children's feet were also cracked and blistered from the heat. And finally after two months we were there, the time came for us to go home and we felt very relieved. However, there is a sense of sadness because I can't meet again with the workers there who are already kind and understanding there. However, like the viral song "Comes and goes, passes it passes. There is and does not meet, will be separated". After we got ready to leave there in the evening, we all took a photo together for memories.

Yaps, I'll continue to tell ya guys. Starting from I am a street vendor, I am a street vendor in Banyuwangi, precisely in the village of Cempoko Sari at Maha Karya Farm. I was there street vendors for 6 months. I was not there alone, me and my 5 friends, namely Aisyah, Rika, Via, Firda and Risma. I lived there on a contract at the house of one of the workers there. We traveled from Jember to Banyuwangi for 3 hours, because some of our friends were drunk. And after 3 hours, it finally arrived. We got off right in front of the farm. And we were warmly welcomed there by the manager and his employees. Then we were given directions and also how to work there, after that we were told to take a break to tidy up our things. The next day, we started departing from the contract at 06.30 in the morning and returned at 15.00, with one break. We were taught how to harvest eggs, feed them, clean drinking places using traditional methods and tools. After that, we started to get to know the women because the dominant workers there were women and a few men. Long story short, after we were there for less than 6 months. Why? because at that time we were at the end of the month when the street vendors were hit by the Covid 19 outbreak which had just entered Indonesia. So, it was with a heavy heart that we had to go home at an inappropriate time. We were there weeping bitterly, and weighing each other down so we wouldn't go home. However, from our school, we told us to go home immediately so that the plague did not reach us and we did not return home with the plague. Then we took a group photo and gave them all a little memento. And maybe that's my story, I apologize if there are any wrong words and also apologize for not being able to write fluently and use the vocabulary correctly. Good evening everyone, thanks for reading my story.
