I learned:

1. The basic structure of advertising copy: Advertising copy usually includes titles, subtitles, main copy, slogans, contact information, calls to action, and logos. Titles and visuals are key to attracting attention, while the main body of the copy provides detailed information and support.

2. The importance of titles: The title is the most important part of an advertisement and determines whether readers will continue to read the main text. Its functions include attracting attention, selecting the audience, delivering complete information, and guiding readers into the main copy.

3. Writing attractive titles: Create effective advertising titles through the "4U" formula (urgency, uniqueness, specificity, and practicality) and eight basic title types (such as direct titles, indirect titles, news titles, question titles, etc.).

4. The role of slogans: Slogans summarize the brand concept and should be concise, memorable, and able to convey the brand image.

Characteristics of radio advertising

Radio advertising is a cheap but challenging form of advertising because it can only use audio and the information is fleeting, so it needs to be played repeatedly to be remembered.

The advantage of radio advertising is that it is easy to carry, suitable for simple information transmission, and low cost.

The disadvantage is that there is only sound, no image support, and the audience is easily distracted. It needs very attractive content and sound to attract attention.

2. Five common forms of radio advertising

Music advertising: attract the audience through memorable songs or melodies.

Dialogue advertising: dialogues between characters simulate daily situations and add realism.

Straightforward advertising: directly introduce the advantages of the product, which is usually the simplest but easy to make people feel boring.

Celebrity endorsement: use the influence of celebrities to enhance the credibility of advertising.

Dramatic advertising: present the problem through situation setting and introduce the product as a solution to enhance the story.

3. Success factors of radio advertising

Focus on one idea: simple and clear, convey one theme.

A wonderful beginning: the first 6 seconds are critical and need to attract the audience's attention.

Powerful call to action (CTA): clearly tell the audience what to do, such as visiting the website, making a phone call, etc.

Repeat the brand name or key information: It is recommended to repeat the brand name at least 3 times in a 30-second ad to ensure that the audience remembers it.

4. Tips for writing radio ads

Use short words and colloquial expressions to make the content closer to daily conversations.

The use of descriptive language and sound effects allows the audience to "see" the sound.

Avoid complex details and too many numbers to avoid distracting attention.
