This will be a very interesting trial!

These jurors sound like very hardworking, honest people. There are a lot of details mentioned that make it believable.

We have people from all walks of life here. I think I trust them.

Dr. Watson is a very amiable person. However, I think sheer trauma has clouded some of his memories. I still think that he is very sane and in-character.

Sherlock Holmes is describing a lot. I can tell that he knows a lot about the case. He might actually be the best detective in Europe (forgive my earlier statement). He suspected the Stapletons from the beginning and wanted to test Watson.

The dog expert seemed to have much knowledge about the dog, and I had not considered how the phosphorous could have harmed the hound. 

Selden, the criminal, has come back to life to testify-- a most intriguing event. For a murderer, he is a very honest man.

Much of Lestrade's information comes from Sherlock Holmes, who is his connection to the case. He was also called down to bring a warrant, since Holmes himself can't arrest anyone.

John Barrymore has a lot of information about Sir Charles. He has a lot of details on the night that Sir Charles died, as well as Selden.

I feel Mrs. Barrymore's distress at the dilemma she faced at helping her brother. She could not leave him, but she ended up losing him anyways.

Sometimes I think that Mr. Frankland should mind his own business and stop suing me. However, at least this time, it helped with the case. It's interesting that he was so easily baited to share information with Dr. Watson.

Poor Laura Lyons-- we were both deceived by Stapleton. I feel bad that she has never had much affection from anyone. I hope her divorce goes well. She demonstrates how Stapleton was able to manipulate anyone.

Sir Charles is back from the dead to testify! I miss my old friend. He has much information about his own death-- as expected.

Ah, my friend Sir Henry! I wish him the best of luck with Beryl Stapleton. Would he be a biased witness because of their love for each other? I hope not. Sir Henry is an honest man even when it does not suit him. But I can tell that he is extremely concerned with Beryl Stapleton's wellbeing, and is passionate about believing Beryl Stapleton as innocent.

Ah, Beryl Stapleton! She looks in better health. She, of course, is explaining why she is innocent. She describes how she was under Jack Stapleton's control nearly all the time. Yet she still tried to warn them, risking herself.

Both sides make good cases. However, I am inclined to give Beryl the benefit of the doubt. If Jack was smart enough to manipulate intelligent educated men like Sir Charles, Sir Henry, and I, then he must have been able to manipulate and control Beryl.

Sherlock Holmes: Holmes is speaking much of the women in this case. He elaborates on some if the conversations he had with many other witnesses and the events that went on. Made many relevant points to the case.
Prosecution is seemingly very focused on if sherlock suspected beryl before jack was convicted
Defense is focused on beryls relationship details.
Selden: Very detailed statement, many accurate details about events in the case. Did a good job getting to know the character.
Prosecution is again very focused on beryl and if witnesses saw her doing anything suspicious
Defense is focused on the witnesses whereabouts
Lestrade: Makes clear that he has been involved with law enforcement for a long time. Describes the events well. Acuses Beryl of being a part of Sir Charles death. Makes sure that everyone knows he is telling the the truth.
defense is asking basic questions about Beryl. Asked about how he found her in the closet.
Mr. Barrymore: Talks about his wife and the events that included  him lying to investigators. Lays out the events in the case well. played the character well
Mrs. Barrymore: 
Touches on the money Sir Charles lent/left to them. Talks about what she remembers about Beryl and Jack. Discusses her dead brother Selden and how he was an escaped convict.
Does a good job playing her character.
Dr. Mortimer: Knows much about Sir Charles's health. Didn't suspect Jack or Beryl until after the news came out. Does well with what they know about the case. Played the character well
Mr. Franklin: Talked about how Watson badgered him about the location of Holmes. Stated that he doesn't know much about Beryl. Played the characters personality very well.
Laura Lyons: She states hoe she was involved in the case with great detail. She explains all her actions well and the relationship with her father. Did a good job
Charles Baskerville: Describes his death in great detail. States his relationship to some characters. Played him well
Defense asked about a letter he received from L.L
Henry Baskerville: Describes his actions towards other witnesses. Says Beryl sent him a letter to warn him and says that Beryl is innocent. played the character well.
Jack Stapleton: non existent
Beryl Stapleton: Talks about the issues she had with her late husband. States she knew of his plan but was trying to protect herself and others as much as possible. Knowing them on a personal level allows us to see their true character and builds a bond of trust. 
- The prosecution attorney kept the opening statement short and straight to the point. The defense attorney provided a more in depth statement about the case, and provided some main points we will see in the trial.
- Dr Watson is very polite and provided good information about his relations with the other characters. He provided key information about the trial and did not stray from the main points. Watson also stayed neutral and unbiased when answering questions. 
- Sherlock Holmes provided many important facts in his statement and stated as much as he could about the case. It was clear his statement was written thoroughly and carefully.
After Holmes' opening statement, court has ended for the day and will resume on Thursday with questioning.
-The court reporter had a nice, in depth recap of the events on Tuesday.
-Holmes gave very good, straight forward responses.
-The Dog Experts statement is very analytical and descriptive, providing exact information. I'm very shocked at how poorly Jack treated his dog.
-I'm already aware of Seldon's situation so it wasn't surprising, but still saddening.
-Hearing exactly what Beryl said after being tortured makes me quite sad. I believe she did no wrong, and her husband took advantage of her.
-I am already aware of everything my husband had mentioned since we are married and never too far apart from each other.
-Dr Mortimer is vey in character. I feel sorrow for him, he lost his dog. Very interesting that he talked to Jack, since he was the killer.
-Mr Frankland uses a telescope, so it will be interesting to hear what he has to say. He cannot lie or have a bias since he has seen everything that happened.
After hearing Mr Franklands statement, court has concluded for  today and will continue tomorrow with his questioning.
-Im very shocked with Laura Lyons. I didn't know Jack was capable of amnipulating so many people and so well.
-I'm also very shocked hearing Sir Charles. Watson speaks like he knows what he is doing. He is speaking like he is in a gothic book. He also had a good costume and roleplayed well. He is being very detailed in his description of what happened.
However, he was too traumatized to answer the questions correctly.

Sherlock Holmes is very confident in his description of what happened, but he has no costume. He is very factual in his opening statement. After his opening statement, class ended, so his questioning was delayed.

The dog expert didn't seem to know much about the case besides the dog, its training, and how it killed. They stayed in character well and knew a lot about the dog.

I did okay I guess.

I missed Mrs. Barrymore's testifying because I was catching up on padlet.

Dr. Mortimer roleplayed well and seemed to know what they were talking about. They answered the questions confidently.

Mr. Frankland stayed in character well. They showed an understanding of their character and how he fit into the book as a whole. Their trial time was cut between two days. On the second day they answered the questions confidently.

Laura Lyons was in character is their opening statement. They hesitated in their answers but answered correctly.

Charles Baskerville, reanimated by the judge, had a short opening statement due to dying in the very beginning of the book. They answered the questions confidently.

Henry Baskerville gave a detailed opening statement as a result of being a main character in the book. They were biased as a result of being in love with Beryl, so their stance and presented evidence reflected that. They answered the questions quickly and confidently.

We did not have a Jack Stapleton because we forgot about him when casting.

Beryl Stapleton was obviously very biased, as she was the defendant. They spoke confidently and clearly but did not include much in the opening statement. They answered the questions  very hesitantly but seemed to know their character well. They did good with the roleplaying aspect of it.

Prosecution said Beryl was guilty because she could have reported things to the police.

-I think Jury #1 (Jack Markert) is doing very well in his roleplaying.
-I think Jury #4 did extremely well as well in roleplaying.

-The court reporters are doing really well. I think they did a good job on summing up Tuesdays events.
-I can almost imagine the Jurors as real people, they had very good backstory.
-The questions from the prosecutors and defense are very good, I can definitely understand what they are tying to prove.
-I think Seldon did a good job, and he gave as much information as he could, even though he was dead for half the book.
-I really liked how the dog reporter acted as he handled dogs, he knew the dog, his type. I really liked it.
-Sir Charles had a really good roleplay. He gave me some good information on what happened on the moor on the night of his death.
-Henry Baskerville played a really good roleplay. I like how he still said that there was romance between him and Mrs. Stapleton.

- Dr. Watson does a good job roleplaying the character. He goes in-depth about the details of Beryl's relationship with Henry.
- The dog expert does know a lot about dogs, so their expertise is not a question. Despite not knowing much about the case, she did a good job of providing helpful information.
- Selden knows his character very well. He goes into great detail about the events of the night of his death. Despite being dead and not very involved in the story, he provides good information.
- Inspector Lestrade knows lots about the night of Sir Henry's murder. He made sure to tell all the details of the night.
- John Barrymore recollects the details of the case very well. He provides useful information regarding Sir Charles's death.
- Mrs. Barrymore does a good job roleplaying her character. She seems like she is actually Selden's brother and shows compassion.
- Dr. Mortimer provides a good scientific explanation of Charles's death and goes into detail about things that a doctor would know. The roleplaying within the opening statement is very good.
- Mr. Frankland also does a good job roleplaying within the opening statement. He also mentions other events that occurred including the boy and his telescope.
- Laura Lyons has lots of relevant points about her and Mr. Frankland. She also provides good insight on Sir Charles's death. Is also in character very well.
- Charles Baskerville roleplays his character very well. He recaps the events of his death in detail, and portrays emotions. Also tells lots of details about the letter.
- Henry Baskerville recollects details from all events in the case, including events in London. Also recollects other details of things that happened on the moor involving Beryl, and believes that she is innocent.
- Beryl Stapleton tells lots about her background, and goes on to attempt to prove her innocence.
She also talks about her husband's plans to murder Sir Henry, and how Jack Stapleton abused her and made her unhappy. 
- Throughout the trial, the prosecution asked questions that would potentially prove that Beryl was assisting Jack in some way. 4. seldon- remembers everything from his last moments of life and knew what was going on during his hiding. 
4. lestrade- isnt as involved but knows what his position was in the case. told every detail he seems to know. good with questioning, was able to answer with a full description. 
5. John Barrymore- detailed description to how he belongs to the case and what he is going to do. shares his background and dates on when things have happened. 
6. Mrs. Barrymore- she doesnt have much knowledge of the case due to never being around beryl. Has much knowledge on other cases upon the moor.
7. Dr. Mortimer- well done thoughts and knows what happened with the death of sir charles 
8. Laura lyons- explains in depth all evidence of her part of the case, uses analyisis, doesnt fully answer questions

Watson claims beryl was trying to avoid Stapleton and beryl was used as bait to kill sir henry.
sherlock claims that Stapleton lied to beryl and attempted to stop Stapleton from killing henry by making a letter. she was attempting to stop another murder. sherlock thought it was beryl from the beginning.
dog expert examined the dog and could deduce that the dog footprints were the dogs and that the phosphorous made the dog unhappy and more violate. the dog expert also goes into how the dog is similar to the hound in legend. the hound was shot. she was only aware of how the dog and its actions happened

Seldon explains how he lived on the more and was going to get a boat to South America. he saw the dog and ran and fell over a ledge. he never met Mr. Stapleton. while alone on the more john Barrymore brought him food.

inspector Lestrade explains all the information he knows. they tried to find Mrs. Stapleton and found out he let out the dogs they chased the dog and sherlock shot it with his pistol. beryl was abused and beaten. 
John Barrymore explains the details and situation of Sir Charles's death. he said how he found sir Charles's body and reported it to the police.
Mrs barry more explains what she knows about Seldon and other problems not bringing up the murder. she did not know jack was a Baskerville. 
Dr. Mortimer 
explains how he was the doctor to sir Charles and knew of his superstition which made his heart problem worse. when he died his face was contorted and was waiting for a long time. sir Charles was going to the city to relax in the city and died a day before he got there.
Mr. Frankland observers from a distance and fights for fighting's sake. he sees things with his telescope and sees many things. he has a lot of information and does not share it only sometimes sharing it with Watson.

Watson: the role was done very well throughout. provides good information for both sides of the argument. i think this witness could have been used better by each side of the argument, being he witnessed most of the important events of the case.
