Friend Padlet was a padlet that started near the first school quarter of 2024. This padlet soon died 2 days later. A few months later, we made friend padlet V2. It was a very fun padlet for a while, but then, Natalie Wheeler noticed a bunch of strangers in the Padlet. We still do not know who these people are. Now, we are in Version 3. However, we soon noticed that they still somehow got in even after making Version 3, as a result, we turned the link to the Padlet on private but it kept turning on public for some reason. We still do now know why this happens and who is doing this. Yesterday (May 1 2025), Natalie Wheeler noticed that one of the strangers named themselves Sophia Rymer to trick us. We removed them from the Padlet. Please, if you see this happen again remove them. Nothing else happened after this.

Dear Unfortunate Invitee,

Congratulations! You have been randomly selected by fate (and probably cursed) to attend the annual Camp DoomFern, the ONLY wilderness survival camp located directly inside an abandoned sinkhole filled with whispering moss, haunted squirrels, and at least three portals to the Upside Down.

This is not a drill. Nor is it safe. Or legal. Or scientifically explainable.

At Camp DoomFern, you’ll be expected to survive with no internet, no snacks, and NO LAWS. You’ll arrive via goat-drawn sled and immediately be thrown into Level 7 Survival Mode, where you must build shelter using nothing but spaghetti noodles, broken dreamcatchers, and mild panic.

Daily activities include:

• Wrestling fog (it fights back)

• Decoding cryptic screams from the woods (bonus points if you scream back)

• Sprinting from the Swamp Grandmother, who may or may not be a hallucination

• Aggressive stargazing, where the stars look directly into you

Dinner is served at exactly "when the sun blinks," and may consist of mystery stew, ashberries, or ghost-toast (toasted by ghosts). Camp counselors include a semi-retired cryptid named Greg and a raccoon in a trench coat. Bedtime? Never heard of it. You sleep when the forest sings lullabies. If it screams, you run.

All campers must carry a safety pouch containing:

• A single bean

• A photo of a door

• Emergency glitter

• The ability to scream in Morse code

IMPORTANT: If you see a door that wasn’t there yesterday, do NOT open it. That’s how we lost last year’s camp director (R.I.P. Tammy?).

Attendance is mandatory. Escape is unlikely.
