1. This passage is not absolutism because the monarch did not want full power and worked with the parliament to govern the country.
2. This passage is absolutism because they believe that the ruler is chosen by a higher power and that there can only be one ruler. The passage also mentions how the leaders wanted to gain more power.
3. I think that this passage is absolutism because the king has power over all the decisions and has the final authority.
4. This passage is absolutism because this ruler took control of everything and removed any restraints of his power.

1. Number one isn't absolutism because the monarchs had to abide by the english bill of rights and work with the parliament.
2. This is an example of absolutism because the emperors were selected by God, they had hand picked governors and nobles and they had no legislative body for them to listen to.
3. This is not absolutism because he doesn't have all the power. he has finial say.
4.

He also hand picked all of the other members of the governing system.
Number 3 is not an example of absolutism because the ruler does not have divine power, and he has final say but not full say on everything.
Number 4 is an example of absolutism because Mussolini had complete control of all matters, including military forces. I think that if he can be called a dictator then his system must be absolutism.

Also, they worked with the Parliament.
2. This is an example of absolutism because the Chinese Monarchs commanded respect from their subjects and referred to themselves as sons of heaven.
3. This is not absolutism because some of the laws go through the Council of Ministers and the Monarch gets the final say, but not the only say.

The first one is not an example of absolutism, for William and Mary were just granted the royalty of Monarchs and they still had people at higher levels then them with more control.
2. The second one is an example of absolutism because they believed the ruler is granted from heaven, and there is only one heaven. So, there is only one ruler who is the highest and biggest priority.
3.

1. The first one is not an example of absolutism because the power was not given to just the monarchs. The King and Queen had to communicate with Parliament to make decisions. The responsibility to rule was shared between the monarchs and government institutions.
2. The second is an example of absolutism because the Chinese believed the monarch had "divine right," which means that the monarch was given the right to rule from heaven and that he/she could be the only ruler. Also, opposition was not condoned. Lastly, there was no protection for the people.
3.
