Play a game to implement rules in order to grab the children attention. One that I have experienced and observed was "everybody stop hands on top" and the kids put hands up onto head. The children reacted based off a pattern implemented within class as well as teachers voice tone/volume.

This furthermore uses a clever approach in attention within the classroom.
