Tegucigalpa is a city full of cultures and traditions. Most people are frendly and always willing to help, which makes visitors food welcome. The city has some beautiful places to explore, such as El Picacho park, where there is a large statue of christ and a breathtaking view of the city. There is also a zoo but it is not in the best best condition. You can also walk through the historic center and see colonial buildingd that tell part of the country's history.

I am from Tegucigalpa and I still remember a hilarious visit to El Picacho. When I was younger, my sisters, girlfriends and I went there for a picnic.... but it didn't go exactly as we had planned.

First, we got lost; yes, we got lost in the parking lot. We thought we were brave explorers, but ended up walking in circles for 20 minutes looking for the entrance. We started up the stairs to the big statue of Christ, full of energy. Within five minutes, we were breathing as if we had just run a marathon.

Once inside, we started to take selfies with the giant statue of Christ like real tourists, we wanted to take pictures with all the places there, but out of 50 pictures, only about 10 of them came out well because of the bad cell phone camera we had with us.

Later, we visited the zoo. I was curiously happy for the amount of animals that were there, it was my first time visiting a zoo and for a little girl it was wonderful until I was curious about the crocodiles because I could not see, I stood on a step to observe better and out of nowhere a crocodile came out fiercely, scaring me and making me fall, I took a knee and elbow shaved from the experience.

Later, we ate baleadas, but my uncle accidentally sat on one and didn't notice. He had to walk all over the piccacho with stains on his pants from the sitting accident. All in all, my visit to El Picacho was full of laughter and unforgettable moments, I still laugh every time I remember it!
