1. Brief Problem Statement:
WFH and its various challenges (e.g. playing multiple roles at home, lack of conducive place to work, longer working hours) is causing the team to feel burnt out.

2. Three Ideas How to Move Forwards:

a. Team Leads to provide 'incentives' to members for appreciation and recognition of efforts
b. Consideration to move to 4-day work week
c. Provide a structure to guide team on work-life balance, where possible. e.g. to restrict work within official hours, to instill 'templates' for work meetings and duration within a particular timeframe (no longer than 60 minutes, or instill breaks for complex discussions)

3. "Safe-to-Fail" Probe for Each Idea:

a. Conduct regular physical touchpoint, informal/ casual 'coffee chats' with individuals or group of colleagues, etc.
b. Pilot-trial on 'no work communication' after office hours, except critical/ urgent items
c. Organise well-being activities physical/ virtual at end of day/ week/ month for individuals or group of colleagues to 'break-away' from work.
c (i). Individual - 'Me-Day/ Time' for addressing feedbacks with Management and 'toying with ideas' for innovation/ incubation of ideas, undertaking e-learning for self-development, etc.
c (ii). Group of colleagues - GetFit initiatives e.g. Big Walk, Zumba, etc.

1. Brief Problem Statement:
WFH for an extended amount of time, employees are burnt out

2. Three Ideas How to Move Forwards:
1. Arrange a get together session after work or during lunch
2. Roster for employees to come back to office, to create a sense of 'togetherness'
3. Flexible work hours

3. "Safe-to-Fail" Probe for Each Idea:
Experiment (Probe 1):
Arrange a get together within the team and seek out various interest groups. After trying out various interests (i.e. cooking, gardening, photography), we concluded that nighttime cycling is the most popular. We cycle every Friday night after work to have some makan together as a team.

Experiment (Probe 2):
Duration of three months, every employee is asked to come back to the office two days a week on scheduled days. Monitor the engagement level of the team, refine, and repeat.

Experiment (Probe 3):
Allocate different pockets of time for your different roles/functions (not limited to just work, can also focus on the family) and No-meeting-Fridays on the last Friday of the month, to focus on work and limit "zoom fatigue"

"Safe-to-Fail" Probe for Each Idea:

Sense Probe 1 - Flexible working place and time

Sense Prob 2 - Smaller unit of place, when initial Circuit Breaker, no prior experience. Talk to few of staff on what are the challenges they have.

Sense Prob 3 - Agree on general time allocation for actual work for meetings and engagement. Let the team knows about when to actually work. By talking to some of staff that have this burnt-out issue. May not be all staff experiencing this. ( Workshop for mental wellness and also have time to talk to the staff). Arranged a work-out time for exercise.
