         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>DESCRIPTION POSITIVE ASPECTS</strong> <br>The ISO 14001 certification shows the purpose of supporting the application of an environmental management plan for the visited site in its different processes carried out within it. The different institutional evaluation mechanisms, such as program self-evaluation, institutional self-evaluation, customer satisfaction and process management indicators for compliance with ISO 14001 certification requirements.<br>The degree of compliance is quite satisfactory if you can see the Environmental Management Component, is part of the Integrated Management System within the others already known. Within which there are shared requirements, such as that related to the determination of functions, responsibility and authority and competences of the personnel to be maintained within the institution.<br><strong>DESCRIPTION OF IMPROVEMENT ASPECTS.</strong> <br>The control and maintenance of documentation; the management of internal audits, risk management and the formulation of corrective actions; although it exists in the process, it is not fully socialized, especially with the new personnel working in it.<br>A route of continuous improvement must be defined so that compliance is maintained and the points of possible weakness present a PERMANENT advance and improvement.<br>Determination of the scope of the Environmental Management System<br>It is not clear what is the purpose of implementing it in the university in order to formulate strategies that make the process evolve.<br>The organization maintains the scope as documented information, but the manual is not permanently socialized with its modifications.<br><strong>NONCONFORMITIES <br></strong>No disagreements were evident in the process except for subtle improvements in the handling of audit information at all levels within the university.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The National Open and Distance University - UNAD is an Educational Project was born under the name of Unidad Universitaria del Sur de Bogotá, UNISUR during the government of Belisario Betancur. It emerged, through Law 52 of 1981, as a public establishment of the national order attached to the Ministry of National Education and transformed by the Congress of the Republic through Law 396 of August 5, 1997 in the National Open and Distance University UNAD.<br><br></div><div>Its objective is the fulfillment of a university mission, educational, organic, strategic and especially with the pedagogical academic model was created to design and implement academic programs with the pedagogical strategy of distance education, which were relevant to local, regional, national and international needs and in accordance with the challenges and demands of a democratic society, participatory and dynamic related to scientific, social and cultural models that are necessary to manage today.<br><br></div><div>Finally, the Jose Celestino Mutis Administrative Headquarters is structurally very functional since it is at the same time very important for its gear in both administrative and academic functioning. It has in its facilities administrative support for the university and its students, presential classrooms for the development of activities proper to the development of the presential educational process, virtual classrooms for distance development, laboratories, and conference rooms that offer spaces for the systemic development of its educational mission that has always been characterized by its commitment to communities and populations that have not had access to technical, socio-humanistic, community and transcendent training.<br><br></div>]]></description>
