I started this course in the best way and energy, where I met the teacher Sarah who is very good at what she does and you can tell that she has experience in this field since she told us that she worked for many years in the public sector. We started with some slides where she showed us the different types of public agencies. Almost at the end of the class he had us work in small groups where we had to make a slide where we chose a public sector agency and talk about it. In summary, I enjoyed working with the group I had and I really liked the class very educational. Let's see what module 3 has in store for me.

In module 3 there was no class as such, but we had to join a Zoom call, where we joined all sections of PRCH3020 where we touched a very important topic, the Silex project where we had Nikolah who was the person who explained to us what the project itself was about and talked about the importance of it because it was a real company, which faced a problem and we had to solve it, provide solutions and the best were going to expose the same company. He always warned us that it was not an easy project but with my group we decided to do our best to live up to the responsibility.

In module 4 we caught up, as we were supposed to give a topic but couldn't because of Zoom's call. We talked about risk management and the BPS directive which is the broader public sector procurement where we learned a lot more about this guide. Also this week we have to finalize our groups for the Silex project and send the contract by the end of the weekend.

In module 5 I had a very productive class as well since we got into the legal side of the public sector, I learned the laws of agency relationships and understood that they are bound by agreements, conditions, limitations, rights and obligations. Also the functions of the agent within it since they have the duty to account, be loyal, perform etc. and their functions within the agencies.

We also touched on the midterm exam as it was coming up and it was based on a case analysis in a word document. But for that week we had to deliver our individual part of the case and the other week we had to continue with our group part.

The module was only and exclusively for the midterm, an important week as it represented a very high % for my final grade. The exam was based on the midterm case analysis in which we were talking and we had already had to work individually. The teacher had told us that it was in groups and they were going to be the same as Silex, so I was calm because I knew my group mates very well and I was not worrying, until the teacher decided to change that decision and I played random, I had no problems because the group that I had worked very well and I felt very good because my individual part of the work liked my group and we could do it without problems and we got a very good grade.

Module 7 was very important for me because it was to turn the page of the midterm and to be in the middle of the course practically where we saw a very interesting topic since it was to induce us in the tools that public procurement employees use to obtain the goods and services required by the agencies and to see the basics of competitive bidding. I really liked this class because one never expects that in a field there are so many nourishing and varied fields.

In module 8 we continued with module 7, competitive bidding where we had more class and concepts on this topic and the teacher gave us a good amount of time to work on a mini project where she gave us several contracts and we had to read them and choose one. Our group chose the planning of a park where we made a model of how we could build them, asking key questions. An enriching experience where the next class we were going to continue working on it.

In module 9 we continue on what the criteria are for choosing suppliers in the public procurement sector where we learned to be able to know if a supplier is qualified or not qualified using methods such as "Disqualification for non-compliance" or using the criteria beyond the price and that agents must know that these protocols must be acted with total transparency and quite clear. We were also able to finish the project we worked on last classes.

In module 10 we learned the transparency of the public sector, where we saw the ethical, supportive part and the other side of the coin which is fraud, bribery and conflicts of interest. We saw the different codes of ethics and saw how agencies should set an example of how things should be handled in the most honest and transparent way. In this module I was able to learn many things where I can develop myself much better as a professional and, above all, as a human being.

In module 11 we did not have class as such, I had to go to the classroom but the teacher gave us all the space in the class to finish our Silex projects. My group and I made the most of that class since we were able to advance the project a lot to the point of practically finishing it, it was just worrying about conclusions and thinking about how to make the slides and how to distribute the slides.

In this module the big day arrived, day of presentations. The most important module for me since it was time to present a project that we had been working on for a long time and represented a very large % in the final grade, we presented almost last and my group and I were able to present in the most comfortable way possible and we felt very good presenting in front of the class and the other groups.

Final module of classes for me, since the 14th was to work on this reflection that already culminates here. We had a very short class as far as farewell, where it was like a feedback class where we dedicated ourselves to talking about the course, asking last questions and doubts to the teacher where we used a website where we left our doubts and questions. We also answered questions to see how we were doing after 13 weeks of teaching together, after that the teacher gave the final words and farewells.

In conclusion, it is a course that I really enjoyed since it was very flexible with schedules, assignments, projects, quizzes, etc. A course where I was nourished with information, I was able to get to know the heart of the public sector, ethics, competitive bidding, types of agencies and I became very fond of it. Professor Sarah was an excellent teacher who always had patience with us, she had that vocation to always teach and I leave satisfied with everything done.
