Technology has become more advanced, giving people a better opportunity to come out of poverty and create a new life for themselves. Also, in modern times there are college education opportunities for higher paying jobs. -Lyndon B. Johnson:
He made social security. He increased the benefits that lifted 2 million Americans 65+ releasing them from poverty.

-Bill and Melinda Gates:
Left $8.3 billion in their foundation to go towards poverty. They also helped everybody lead healthy and productive lives. They also accepted the "World Food Program".

The Government:
The government offers free education to people in elementary, middle, and high schools. The government also grants people two years of community college for free.
