         <description><![CDATA[<div>Motivation and Responsibility Group <br><br></div><div>This group is designed for a group of 8 students in the 11<sup>th</sup> grade. The purpose of this group is designated for students struggling with failing to submit assignments on a timely basis in the enrolled classes. The student needs assessment is looking to identify students that are struggling with an internal issue or possibly feel that is not necessary to submit assignments until they deem it necessary. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Informational emails will be sent to  the teaching staff for recommendations on students who could benefit from the group. The email will specify the requirements that will need to be met of students in the 11th grade that are struggling at submitting the assignments that have been assigned to these students.  The coaching staff will be involved to help with student athletes that could become ineligible due to lack of assignments submissions. </div>]]></description>

Student recommended by the teachers will meet with the counselor and discuss the opportunities  that will be derived from meeting in this group. Students will have a explanation that this group participation could benefit them prior to the admin exercising options that could be very hard and negative.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The dynamics of this group is challenging. This group is will be consist of 11th grade male students. <br>The beginning sessions will consist of getting to know each other and building trust. Time will be allotted to make sure this is accomplished. The group will move to the next level of exploring different aspects of causes of assignments not being submitted. Students will discuss issue related reasons that may have an effect on the assignments. After determining the causes students will move to the next level of motivation or lack of motivation and explore ways to enhance the motivation to improve the submission. <br>Planning for a different ending will follow in the last sessions prior to students moving to the 12th grade. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In exploring Yalom's curative factors   Corrective recapitulation of primary family group - experiencing transference relationships growing out of primary family experiences providing the opportunity to relearn and clarify distortions help some students with family issues that keeps them from concentrating on school assignments.  Existential factors may also play an important role as the students begin to share. In counseling with mindsets and behaviors reality therapy has been successful in counseling students with behavioral issues. <br>Failure to submit assignments may be related to a behavioral issue to some students in the group, where external issues may be at the root of other students. With reality therapy this can be disseminated where external issues can be explored while with  other student may just need a stringent plan to make sure that assignment are submitted.  </div>]]></description>
