At the altar, the bride and groom give each other rings. After the newly wedded couple kiss, they are followed down the isle by the wedding party. The sinful will suffer in hell. The belief in external life is common to all religions. A sacrament called the Extreme Unction or Anointing the Sick is when a extremely sick person asks for forgiveness for his or her sins. If the person is unable to do so, the minister does it in his or her stead. Christian funerals in some countries are called a wake, or period of mourning and prayer. The funeral normally includes prayers, speeches, and the body displayed before burial or cremation. Roman Catholics pray the rosary over the body the evening before the funeral ceremony.
