c) Suno first feels angry and suffocated in his own house because of how chaotic and noisy his family is and that there is a lot of pressure coming from his parents. He then leaves his house for the teashop that was also not a desirable place for him to study in. The waiter kept asking Suno what he would have when all Suno wanted was some time alone to himself so he could study. After the torturous experience at the teashop, Suno finds himself at the park where he sees others who are on the same boat as him. He feel a sense of relief that he finally had found a place where he could study in peace without having to worry about the distractions around him. However, this happiness did not last long. Suno soon realizes and notices that there are peak periods in the park where there would be a large crowd coming into the park to carry out their respective activities. For example, the people who do yoga in the park, Suno feels irritated by them. Despite that, Suno chances upon a couple that made him change his feelings. Suno heads back without feeling the heavy burden of having to study so hard for his examinations after chancing upon the beautiful couple.

This  one focuses on the theme of the individual struggling to define himself in the face of overwhelming family and societal pressures. Thus, the role of the family is central to the story. Suno is overwhelmed by his family's intrusions into his life. In the first place, it is his family that is putting so much pressure on him to study for the exam: "study, study, study," they tell him. Yet it is also the activities of the family members which make it impossible for Suno to focus on his studies. His father listens to the radio news in six different languages. His mother makes noise in the kitchen with the sizzling sounds of her frying and the sounds of water sloshing around. His younger brothers and sisters tease and harass him when they return home from school.


Scenarios:
One day while in the park, Suno comes across a young woman lying on a park bench with her head resting in the lap of an older man. He describes what he later thinks of as his "vision'' in the following terms: ‘‘She was a Muslim, wrapped in a black borkha.. .I saw her face. It lay bared, in the black folds of her borkha, like a flower, wax-white and composed, like a Persian lily or a tobacco flower at night. She was young. Very young, very pale, beautiful with a beauty I had never come across even in a dream.’’ Although he never sees this woman again, Suno is inspired by the sight of her, his "vision," to seek out a different path in life from that which his family had been forcing him onto.

• the tea shop at the corner.                                     suno tried to read a chapter of history over a cup of tea but the waiter kept bothering him and asking him questions and talking to him and trying to start a conversation with suno but suno just snarled at him but the waiter only smiled back, determined to be friendly with suno.
• Kind Edward’s Park.                                                       suno kicked rubber along the pavement till he reached the park and then a gram vendor saw suno and asked him if he had exam troubles in a friendly voice. the gram vendor continued talking to suno that he has seen many boys like him at the park pacing back and forth with their books like mad poets. then he said that he was very lucky to not be ever sent to school and begin to whistle. suno was confused as the gram vendor looked free and was enjoying life when he was just someone that shuffles hot gram into paper cones, but suno took his advice and when into the park when he said that it was a good place to study in.
