While we were in Cozumel there was a homeless man sleeping on a bar top of an abounded restaurant. And nobody including us checked to see if he's ok. And too this day i still think about this because i always wonder if the man was ok, But ill never know because i was too scared to see. But if the man wasdressed up like a tourist i feel like he wouldve at least goten checked on.
In cheboygan day the twins were treated very diffrent. Claude was praised when he first got their because of teh way he dressed. In the story "Cheboygan Day". The theme for the section is if you stick up for someone they will appreciate you. I think this becase after Adeles first day of school owen stuck up for adele and she really appreciated it. Shirley Jackson's intention for writing is not to advocate for violence but to warn others about how extreme "following tradition" can become. Critique the story by deciding whether or not the message is clear. Did you understand what lesson she wanted the audience to learn? Why or why not?            
 I think she could have been clearer personally, because it took me about paragraph 60 to realize what was happening. But Once I realized what it was going on the message was pretty good.

  • In what way does Scrooge's past affect his present?

    All the bad decisions he's made have cause him to become unhappy and unliked by his peers.


  • Have there been any positive, loving people in his life? Who?

    Fan, His sister who truly loved him and was the only one he could actually talk to in his childhood.


  • Do you believe Scrooge has a reason to be cruel to those around him? Why or why not?

    • I dont think he needs to be cruel because of what his father did to him. With that being said i can see why he does treat people this way.

  • I think the story is going to be about a grumpy old man who hates christmas trying to adapt when his past is catching up to him.

  • The trailer was ominous in my opinion we kinda know what is gonna happen and we soon wonder what will happen.
