         <description><![CDATA[<div>Lefse is a Norwegian flatbread typically served with butter and sugar on top as a dessert. The tradition of lefse was brought over by Norwegian Americans to America. Lefse can be made with potatoes, egg yolks, milk, cream, etc. During WW2 when it was seen as patriotic to eat potatoes, Norwegian Americans ate a lot of potato- based lefse, which remains the most common type of lefse in America today. However, in Norway, other bases are typically used. My family is Norwegian, and we eat lefse every Christmas! -Katie</div>]]></description>
