I found that the documents were difficult to analyze mainly because they were wordy and very academic so I wasn't 100% sure I knew what I was reading. After further investigation and using my context clues I felt much better about the assignment.

The difference was mainly using your context clues to describe the charges that could be done, but I think the proof was more visible with the map example. You can actually see the damage that was caused whereas with the documents you can only assume what has happened.

I found that each case is unique and should be examined from a variety of angles, not just one perspective. If you try to look at things through one lens you lose the multiple perspectives that work together to allow you to see the whole picture.

I think being in the Human Rights Group made me realize how there is such a need for human rights organizations to take action in these problems. For example, bringing food to impoverished areas after attacks could be one way of helping those who are in Sudan.

I learned that prosecuting individuals is a solemn act and can lead to essential duties and perspectives of decision-making. Being with the Humanitarian Aid group relating to those whose homes were lost and those whose loved ones were lost makes me more empathetic towards them. I don't see any justification in the killing of innocent civilians so seeing these maps and the court hearings makes this far more sentimental.

The court transcript were a challenge to analyze due to being unfamiliar with court protocol. Trials are subject to strict rules to keep arguments on each side fair and thorough. Additionally, the map had very little detail to analyze, as the residences could have been better labeled.
