A father went to say good night to his seven year old son, very well knowing that if he didn’t his son would have trouble sleeping. It was a nightly routine between them. He entered the dimly lit room where his son waited under his blanket. With the first glance the father could tell there was something unusual about his son tonight, but couldn’t put his finger on it. He looked the same but had a grin that drew from ear to ear.

“You okay, buddy?” the father asked.

The son nodded, still with the grin, before saying, “Daddy, check for monsters under my bed.”

The father chuckled a bit before getting on his knees to check only to satisfy his son.

There, under the bed, pale and afraid, was his son. His real son. He whispered, “Daddy, there someone on my bed”.

One night,the doctor was instructed to get a few supplies from the basement of the hospital , and so he headed to the lift .The lift doors opened and there was a patient inside , minding her own business. Patients were allowed to roam around the hospital to stretch,especially those who have stayed long. The rule was to be back in their rooms before ten.

The doctor smiled at the patient before pressing the number for the basement. He found it unusual that the woman didn't have a button alraedy pressed .He wonderded if she was heading to the basement too.

The lift finally reached the floor where the doors opened. In the distance a man was limping towards the elevator, and in a panic the doctor slammed the elevator button to close. It finally did and the lift began to ascend back up, the doctor's heart pounding.

'' Why did you do that ? He was trying to use the lift.'' The womam stated ,annoyed.

'' Did you see his wrist ?'' The doctor asked,'' It was red. He died last night. I would know because I did his surgery .''

The woman lifted her wrist. He saw red . She smiled.'' Like this one ?''

INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9×9” baking pan with parchment, letting excess extend over sides of pan and lightly grease with butter. In the top of a double boiler, place the chocolate pieces and the butter. Cook over simmering water, stirring occasionally, until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Turn off heat, and whisk in sugars. Remove from heat, and let cool slightly. 

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, black cocoa, and salt. Set aside. In a small bowl, lightly whisk eggs. Add half of beaten eggs to chocolate mixture, whisking until combined. Add remaining beaten eggs, and whisk until combined. Whisk in vanilla. Fold in flour mixture until just combined. Spread batter into prepared pan. Bake until a pick inserted in center comes out with only a few crumbs, about 25 minutes. Let cool completely in pan. Using excess parchment as handles, remove from pan and remove the parchment.

Marshmallow Spider Webs
INGREDIENTS:
8-10 full size marshmallows
White sanding sugar
Plastic Spiders, cleaned & washed

INSTRUCTIONS:
Melt the marshmallows in the microwave for 30 seconds. Whisk until smooth. Using your fingertips, grab small pieces of the marshmallows and stretch it over the brownies, attaching on the edges of the brownies. Sprinkle with sanding sugar and top with the plastic spiders.

Ingredients

1/3 cup softened butter

1/3 cup brown sugar

1/3 cup white sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup peanut butter 

1 egg

1 cup flour 

1/2 tsp baking soda 

Toppings:

Malteaser (any round chocolate works)

Melted chocolate

Candy eyeballs

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 170c 

2. Mix together the butter, sugars, peanut butter, egg and vanilla extract

3. Mix in the flour and baking soda

4. Form into cookies and bake for 10-12 minutes

5. Let it cool

6. Add 2 pieces of circular chocolate onto the cookies

7. Add the eyes

8. Enjoy

Crisp leaves crunched under the horses' hooves, and the girls spent more time than usual exploring an unused trail. The sunset faded, and they suddenly realized they had to pass Black Woods in pitch darkness. The horses knew the path and picked their way carefully through the woodland trail.

They came to a fork in the trail. If they took the shortcut, they would go past Black Woods toward the stables. The horses balked and refused to turn left onto the shortcut.

"Let's dismount and walk them the last little bit. We're almost home," Gloria said.

"You go." Sarah shivered. "I want to take the long way home and ride to the road."

"We're going to get in trouble if we walk the horses on the road at night. It's too dangerous. Besides, we're almost at the stables. We just have to get through Black Woods." Gloria persisted.

Sarah and Meg had already turned their horses towards the road.

"We could get hit by a car being on the road in the dark," Gloria warned.

"Fine," Sarah fumed. "I'll go by the forest."

Gloria urged the horse forward. As they rounded the last turn into Black Woods, an eerie glow suddenly lit the path in front of Gloria. She urged her trembling horse forward. As she turned towards the riding stable, the glow became stronger and centered on a huge, lightning-struck oak tree. On the trunk of the tree, a woman's face appeared. She glowed with a white light as her lips moved.

"Tell them…," she whispered. "Tell them I'm innocent."

Gloria kicked her horse, but the horse needed no urging. He flew through the woods and stopped at the stable door, trembling in fear.

The next day, one of the stable owners, Tommy, stopped by while Gloria groomed her horse. Tommy had heard that Gloria had ridden through Black Woods after dark and so close to Halloween. As she groomed her horse, Gloria worked up her courage and asked, "Tommy, why do people say we shouldn't go into Black Woods at night?"

"Because of the Hanging Tree," Tommy said.

"The big oak." It was a statement from Gloria, not a question.

"The very one," said Tommy.

The apparition's words echoed in Gloria's mind. "Tell them I'm innocent." She shivered.

She never rode anywhere near Black Woods or the old Hanging Tree ever again.

A cold shiver ran down her spine when she heard it—a faint whisper, like a breath against her ear. “Eliza…” The voice was soft, like the wind, but unmistakable. She froze, her heart hammering in her chest.

The house was empty. Or so she thought.

She turned slowly, half-expecting to see her grandmother standing there, but the room was still. Only a portrait on the wall caught her eye. It was an old photograph of her grandmother, framed in gold, but something was wrong. The eyes of the woman in the picture were wide open, staring directly at her.

Then, without warning, the voice came again, closer this time, right behind her. “Don’t leave me…” Eliza spun around, but no one was there. The house felt colder, darker.

She ran for the door, but the handle wouldn’t turn. The whispers grew louder, surrounding her, until they were all she could hear.

Once upon a time in a small town where Halloween was celebrated .Children were excited to dress up with their costumes and go trick or treating.They planned to visit every house in their neighborhood to collect candy .

On Halloween night the streets are filled with spooky and colorful decoration.Kids run from door to door shouting trick or treat and filling their bags with sweets.

A little girl named Ruka dressed up like a princess,she had a red beautiful and cute dress. As she walk she noticed an old house at the end of the street it looked dark and creepy.Ruka walked up to the door and knocked .To her surprise the door slowly opened.

Suddenly an old man who had a long beard and a warm smile appeared ''welcome'' he said ''I'm Mr. John I love Halloween come get treats''. Ruka was scared but curious so she walked in .Mr. John showed her his Halloween decoration and was talking about Halloween stories Ruka laughed and forgot he fear .Mr. John gave her a lot of candies.

After that Ruka realized that sometimes things that seems scary can be fun if you give them a chance.

From then everyone visited Mr. John's house on halloween.

ΘΕΟΔΩΡΑ - ΡΑΦΑΕΛΑ ΜΙΣΙΧΡΟΝΗ

ΝΕΦΕΛΗ -ΜΑΡΙΑ ΜΑΚΡΗ

Allegedly, it was home of an infamous werewolf who actually had developed premium technology for his time and had collected numerous mystical artifacts. The werewolf whose name still remains a mystery , lived there with his human slaves who did everything he said . They lived under terrible conditions and were fearful of the Werewolf 's plans for them. Only one of the slaves , the legendary personality Stephen Ferthwic was brave enough to face the repugnant werewolf and assemble all the slaves in order to rebel against the merciless ruler. His ambitious plan succeeded and everyone was freed from the castle and the werewolf was gone once and for all , right ?

The slaves became citizens and made a village were they grew crops and produced their own goods.

It had been a couple of years since then and the older son made the foolish decision to explore the eerie castle . While he was entering it he heard the creepy sound of a ballerina spinning around a circular disk.He moved deeper into the ancient building.Body armours and other objects were all around him.Then he noticed the toy horse that his younger brother used to play with. Morever,he saw an extremely old piece of paper. John picked it up and started reading..."When the clock rings three times then... '' .The letters after the word ''then'' had been shrouded by the mists of time.

John returned back home but his mind was still in the castle . Every night since then he could not sleep , he was hearing the creepy sound from the ballerina and he was conjuring up images of his little brother with his toy horse . One night he felt like his father , Stephen Ferthwic was whispering to him : '' Soon we ' ll be together again son ...''

John was found dead in his room the very next morning.

She panicked before realizing it was her mother, her real mother, eyes watery and bloodshot:

"Don't go down there, honey. I heard it too"

Two years have passed since then. She always had a problem with sleeping, growing up. Many times she'd get sleep paralysis, because of that night, two years ago. She woke up in the middle of the night frozen. If she'd tried to move, she'd get a really loud ringing noise in both her ears, it would get louder each time she moved. She was terrified. She was too scared to open her eyes but she fell a presence of someone in the room with her. She opens her eyes and see a very tall and dark figure with two horns on each side of his head, just standing there in the corner of her room, facing her.

She panics and tries to move her body, the ringing got louder and louder and louder and she can feel herself crying. She closes her eyes and in her head start saying:

"God will protect me, God will protect me."

Then, she hears a low, evil voice say:

"God can't help you anymore.."

And then, the devil laughs evilly.

•Cupcake mix or homemade cupcakes

•White frosting

•Mini chocolate chips (for eyes)

Instructions:

1. Bake cupcakes and let them cool.

2. Frost with white frosting to create a ghostly effect.

3. Use mini chocolate chips to make eyes.

4. Serve and watch them disappear!

You'll need sugar cookie dough, white icing, and

chocolate chips or mini M&Ms for the eyes.

1. Start by baking your sugar cookies according

to the recipe or package instructions.

2. Once they're cooled, spread a layer of white icing on each cookie to create the ghost shape.3. Use the chocolate chips or mini M&Ms to place two eyes on each ghost.

4. For added flair, you can use black icing to draw

little mouths or spooky expressions.

1 tsp. instant espresso powder

1 c. (120 g.) all-purpose flour

1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 tsp. baking powder

1/4 tsp. baking soda

1/4 tsp. kosher salt

1 large egg, room temperature

1/2 c. whole milk

1/4 c. vegetable oil

1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

1 c. (200 g.) granulated sugar

Filling & Decorating

1/2 c. strawberry jelly

Red gel food coloring

1 c. (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

1 1/2 c. Marshmallow Fluff

2 c. (230 g.) confectioners' sugar

1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

1/4 tsp. kosher salt

1 c. crushed chocolate graham crackers (from about 8 sheets) or chocolate wafer cookies

Directions

Step 1

Arrange a rack in center of oven; preheat to 350°. Line a standard 12-cup muffin tin with liners. In a liquid measuring cup or small bowl, stir espresso powder and 1/2 c. hot water. Let cool.

Step 2

Meanwhile, into a large bowl, sift flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Step 3

In the large bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, beat egg, milk, oil, and vanilla on medium speed until just combined. Add granulated sugar and espresso mixture and beat until incorporated. Add dry ingredients and beat on low speed, scraping down sides of the bowl as needed, until fully incorporated and mixture looks glossy, about 2 minutes. (The mixture will be runny.)

Step 4

Fill prepared cups two-thirds full with batter (for ease, use a 3-Tbsp. cookie or ice cream scoop).

Step 5

Bake cupcakes, rotating tin halfway through, until a tester inserted into the center comes out clean, 18 to 20 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack and let cool.

Filling & Decorating

Step 1

Using a melon baller, scoop out a round from top of each cupcake about 3/4" deep (chef’s snack!). In a small bowl, whisk jelly and 1 to 2 drops food coloring, adding more food coloring if needed, until desired color is reached. Fill each hole in cupcakes with 1 tsp. jelly mixture; refrigerate remaining jelly mixture until ready to use.

Step 2

In the large bowl of stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat butter on medium-high speed until smooth. Turn mixer off and add Marshmallow Fluff. Beat on low speed and slowly add confectioners’ sugar, 1/2 c. at a time. Increase speed to medium and continue to beat to incorporate. Scrape down sides of bowl and continue to beat until frosting is smooth and fluffy, 1 to 2 minutes. Add vanilla and salt and beat until combined, about 1 minute more.

Step 3

Dollop a small amount of frosting over filled holes of each cupcake. Spread frosting, being careful not to disturb jelly, to cover hole. Do not worry about crumbs. Transfer cupcakes to a baking sheet and refrigerate until frosting is set, about 20 minutes.

Step 4

Cut out a 3" round of parchment and fold in half. Cut off a small rounded corner at top of fold to create a heart shape. Place cookie crumbs in a shallow bowl.

Step 5

Frost cupcakes with remaining frosting, smoothing top as flat as possible. Carefully lay parchment over top of cupcake, making sure not to press too hard, to create a stencil. Roll cupcake in cookie crumbs, gently pressing into frosting, to create Dracula’s iconic hairline. Carefully remove parchment and repeat with the remaining cupcakes, wiping off parchment as necessary.

Step 6

Using a toothpick, small spoon, or squeeze bottle, drip 2 "bloody" fangs toward the bottom of each cupcake with reserved jelly mixture.

Original recipe (1X) yields 36 servings

• 1 cup white sugar

• ½ cup butter, softened

• 1 cup solid pack pumpkin puree

• 1 large egg

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour

• 2 teaspoons baking powder

• 1 teaspoon baking soda

• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

• ½ teaspoon salt

• 1 cup halved fresh cranberries

• ½ cup chopped walnuts

• 1 tablespoon orange zest

  
  

• Directions

  
  

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease two cookie sheets.

  2. Cream sugar and butter in a large bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Mix in pumpkin purée, egg, and vanilla.

  3. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt together into a medium bowl. Stir flour mixture into pumpkin mixture until well blended. Stir in cranberries, walnuts, and orange zest. Drop teaspoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto the prepared baking sheets.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven until the edges are golden, 10 to 12 minutes.

  5. Remove from the oven and transfer to wire racks to cool.
