         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>6/8/20178</strong><br>* it was my first day of siep programme. the in charge person from Human Resource Department explained to me of my job scope, small introcduction of hotel background. the officer ask me observe first the way of working. she also teach me some basic knowledge for attending phone calls from customers.<br><strong>7/8/2018</strong><br>*   today i learned to  how to key in  the customer information in the computer because it will be easy for us to search the customer background without any mistakes. i got  my own pin number in order to know how many customer has made their room booking or walk-in booking under my name. </div><div><br><strong>8/8/2018<br>*</strong>The manager asked me to calculate the total number of customer check-in on that month with the money that they received on that month. Whether it tally or not. If not, we need to find out the solution.  As usual I will keep in the check-in and check-out customer on that day.</div><div><strong><br>9/8/2018<br></strong>*the manager  briefs about the packages and services that offered at the hotel<strong>.</strong> i also handled my daily duty which is check in and check out. <strong><br>10/8/2018<br>*</strong> As a receptionist, we need to inform the housekeeping which room need to be clean up or check-out customer in order to accept any check-in customer on that day. As usual if there is any check in customers, we need their ic to keep the data and give them their room’s keys, towels, and tv remote. </div><div><strong><br>13/8/2018<br>* l</strong>earned on how to check online booking through Traveloka.com, Booking.com and Agoda.com because the price is different from walk-in booking. If there is an online booking, we need to print out the information about the booking and asked for confirmation with the customer and asked whether there are changes made or not. Made the check-in and check-out of the customer of the day and keep in touch with housekeeper on which room has been settle down on cleaning.<br><br></div><div><strong>14/8/2018<br>*</strong>Having a talk with manager on the behaviour when  meet customer which we must be confident, give good and positive attitude, using formal languages so that the customer will feel ease with us. Never raise your voice when you talk with the customer because it might influence customer thinking whether they would choose these hotel again or not on another time. Calculate the data of the customer and make sure that the key’s room and the total number of available room are same. Print out any online booking and book the date in the laptop after make a confirmation with the customer</div><div><strong><br>15/8/2018<br>*</strong> Make the check-in customer and print out the customer information and put it into a file of the company. Collect all of the data of the day and insert the guest information into monthly guest’s name, address (if available), use of hotel’s room (day, night or hours), room’s numbers, check in and check out time.  Check the availability of breakfast stock such as bread, mix coffee, sugar, margerin, jam and others. Close the sale of the day</div><div><strong><br>16/8/2018<br>* </strong>Clean up the lobby area because our work places must be clean and tidy to avoid complaints from customers. Make sure that all of the customer does not left their belonging in the rooms after they make their check out if they left it behind, make sure that contact them as fast as we can. Calculate the total number of customer’s deposit and the total number of customer who still in the room. To know whether tally or not ,Put all of the print out customer information into the file given</div><div><strong><br>17/8/2018<br>* </strong>It was my last day of my Siep 3 at Brilliant Inn.  I keep on checking whether there are any problems during my works there. I will inform the manager or supervisor if there are some mistakes happen during my time.  Keep on making the customer check in and check out and print the customer information . </div>]]></description>
