1.) Use the read-aloud feature. When students select text, a toolbar will pop up. They click Speak Text on the toolbar, and text is read aloud.

2.) Search for content in the Search field at the upper right corner. Use the Filter drop-down on the left of the results to filter by Lexile or grade level.
3.) Apply SOS Strategies (pedagogy-based) to prep students for more difficult content. Categories to consider may include Vocabulary Development, Key Ideas & Details, and Summarizing.

Once you are in the Techbook, click the Dashboard icon on the right toolbar. The Change link at the top allows you to navigate between units, and the Change Class drop-down allows you to choose the correct group of students. Then toggle between the tabs to see student progress.
