Benji and Felix are challenged to spend 5 million dollars within a month but the catch is they cannot tell anyone. There are also some rules that prevent them from buying extremely expensive items or just simply giving the money away. If they can complete the challenge they get something even better, 10 million dollars that they can spend at their leisure. This book shows the struggles that they boys have trying to keep their spending a secret. In this book we see that following rules can benefit us in the future.
Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus by Mo Willems

When a man leaves a bus in our hands our task is to not let the pigeon drive the bus. Even though the pigeon persists and keeps asking, the reader is not allowed to give in. When the driver gets back he appreciates that we watched over his bus and listened to what he said. This book shows us that when we take care of something that doesn't belong to us, we must respect the owners wishes so that their item says in good shape and they don't get mad for betraying them.

In the literature section we see that when responsibility is taught, it is mainly about how to act and acceptable behavior. These actions that can either be seen as right or wrong are often determined be society and in order to grow up and fit in, they must learn what is allowed. When looking at the toys section, they are quite different. Although they are also trying to teach what it is like to be responsible It is more about taking care of material items as well as people rather than how to act.
