For service learning, I think the philosophical challenges encompass mindsets and ideas and frameworks and ideologies. All of the foundational (and often invisible) things that support and guide our work.

Relational challenges in service learning are so real! Whether it's relationships with colleagues, students, parents, leaders, community partners - the human element is so vital (and complex) in all we do.
