Between 1989 and 1993, he studied Islamic Theology and Islamic jurisprudence at Dar ul Uloom in Karachi, Pakistan. In 2007, Imam Shuaib became the imam of the largest mosque in Utah, the Utah Islamic Center, in West Jordan. He also served as a driving force behind the construction of the mosque.

Imam Shuaib contributes to the Muslim community in Utah by donating to charity and advancing the religion worldwide. He serves as principal of Sunday School at several Mosques and has developed their curriculums since 2002. Imam Shuaib has taken missionary trips to Brazil, Panama, Jordan, India, and over 23 US states.

In addition to his career achievements, Imam Shuaib is a member of several notable Islamic organizations. His efforts have earned recognition, receiving the Community Achievement Award from Utah’s Office of Ethnic Affairs. He also received the Ambassador of Peace Award from the Interreligious and International Federation for World Peace.
