Overview: People sing in a circle with their arms with another person than trying to find one person where he or she is hiding. Elders use to tell children not to play game during night time only play during daytime so Ijiraq won’t get you.

Materials: Warm clothing (if will be outside)

Material Prep: No needed

Steps: (1). Go into a circle

(2). Move your arms to another person

(3). Left one person out to hide

(4). Try to find the person who is hiding.

Closing: Let the last one to be found win a prize.

Thank the students who were participating.

Let the students bring their warm clothing back to their clothing spots if it was outside.

Steps:

1. Find a hard surface area with enough space for group(s)

2. Gather in a circle or spread out with group(s)

3. Extend one leg straight out and the other leg tucked under

4. Alternating legs around and continuing for as long as possible

Closing - Give a prize to the winner (or do this just for fun!)

It is suggested that age group should be 8+ years old and it is a contest. This game could be used for capability test.

Two people back to back

Step:

1.) tape one end to other end.

2.) go back to back

3.) push backwards using arms and legs

4.) push as far as you can to take out the opponent out of the tape line or the play zone.

(Closing)

• give the winner a prize (or just for fun)

STEP 1: get down on your knees and sit on your heel

STEP 2: get ready and swing your arms back and forth for 2 or 3 time

STEP 3: when your ready to jump, jump as far as possible

STEP 4: land on your feet while trying to balance without falling to the floor and try to win your best

STEP 5: give the winner a price

PHYSICAL: this is a fun way to stay active

LANGUAGE: teach others when they don’t know how

COGNITIVE: win or lose, think positive

MATERIALS: put the tape where you land

CLOSING: take off the tape where you put when you land on the floor and put your garbages in the garbage

• Stick on the floor with another competitor or the other person you who you compete with

Steps

• Go one the floor

• Find a competitor to do it with

Closing:

• the strongest competitor will win or the one who had the most pulls.

Overview:

This game is fun is because two people has to compete while sitting in opposite directions, one who pulled the most times or has compete with many participants usually wins.

Materials

• 4 sticks for game points

• 12 sticks are used to keep score during the games

• It is good to have something for players to kneel on

• Coats or bed sheets are used so players can hide the object in their hands

• Player will need to identify an object to hide

• Drumming typically accompanies the game

At the start of the game 12 sticks will be placed in the middle between the opposing teams. The objective is to get all 12 sticks on your side.

In order for the captain to pick what hand the opponent have their object in there are many different signals that can be used

Signals

• One hand splitting the line of players

• Index finger pointing in one directions (right)

• Index finger pointing in one directions (left)

• Index finger pointing in one direction (right)

Before the captain can make a signal, they make a loud sound (whistles or hits the floor with their hand) this action let everyone know they are ready to guess.

The players must show their closed fist to them and the captain then proceeds to make a guess using one of the four hand signals.

Overview - the person who had kicked the highest wins the game

Materials - a high kick stand or high kick stick, it can be a meter long stick to hold up. With this game you can use a broom stick and use a string, tie it at the end and add a target.

Steps:

1. Find enough space for the people playing to have space to warm up and to wait in line or sit down for their turn

2. Gather around the high stick to wait your turn

3. Once done put everything back away

Give the winner a prize or play for fun!

Closing:

Congratulate the highest kicker and make sure everyone helps to put the things away
